Score: 2,065 Macrae + 1 x donut.
Weekly: 63,611
Overall: 27,993 (down 5,936)
Team value: $11,263,400 + bank $197,600, = $11,461,000 (+$271,000)
Trades made: Campbell (sub - 35) to Mansell (39)
Points lost: D 0, M 0, R 0, F 0, C 7, = Total 7 - Hard to have lost points, when you don't have a playing bench! :(
Heroes: Macrae 280, Ziebell 169, Grundy 153, Gawn 147, Dunkley 132, Bontempelli 127 - 6/1,008 - ave 168  Not enough Heroes!
Villains: I don't like putting Rookies in the Villains (looking at you two Jones's!) Some Prems sucked, but only Maynard (59) sub 80.
Comments: Got caught doing things, and missed my intended trade of H Jones (34) to McCreery (47). That's life, I guess.
For the 3rd time this season selections left me facing donuts (2) in my Def line. I decided to wear one, and trade to protect one. I must admit, when you're not doing to great, these late team announcements really suck what little fun you are having right out the window! Too many injuries and missed games. Too many underperfoming Prems. Not enough Rookies scoring like 40+. Please, I mean, we used to grumble if a Rookie scored 48, now I'd throw a party for a few of mine if they'd just break 40!!!
I'm pretty sure this years winner of SC will have cracked the indecipherable code, that is the Forward line this year!!!! Dunkley injured, Dusty doing Dusty things (110 one week, 80 the next), then getting unjured + concussed. Danger busted. It's hard to find 2 Fwd Players you would have rated as Prems coming into the season, that haven't had problems. Ziebell and Walker leading the charge from Impey, then ........... I don't know who!!! 3 Mid Pricers, and no so called Prems!!! I need to stop leaking points in my Fwd line, but I have no idea where to even look!!!
Intended trades: I need to wait for confirmation that Dunkley, but I'm expecting to have to trade him. Sending up smoke signals, looking for a clue, as to who replaces him!!!

Villains: Chapman, Macrae and Gulden on the low side for rookies.

Ridley back - tick
Dunkley trade likely - was going to be between Neale Olivier and Dusty.....this just narrowed down
Upgrade trade - cashed up and will need to consider options.

Negative - traded Kozzie too early. At least brought in Tex, Jordon, Chapman.

SCS02 - somehow 4 straight wins.
SCS Final Score - Wogtalia beat my by 17pts
SCS Insd_case - won to go 3-1

Cash leagues - one big win and one narrow loss.

That is a seriously good team value. I expect Tex and Impey would be a decent chunk of that - both of which I don't have

Score: 2,319 Macrae
Weekly: 3,440
Overall: 2,973 (up 1,593)
Team value: $12,100,800 + bank $39,100
Trades made: Hickey > Treacy and Dow > McCluggage
Points lost: D 68, M 0, R 0, F 0, C 13, = Total 81 - Hurts so much as it's all my fault for putting the wrong emergencies where I did and locking myself into Ridley as the alternate...
Heroes: Macrae 140, Walsh 130, McCluggage 128 (as much for the save on alts), Docherty 121, Cumming 107, Ziebell 169 and Dunkley 132 (almost)
Villains: Me, mostly me. Short and Jelly the main ones, Hind tried his best to save a bad game but he also belongs here!
Comments: Probably the highlight of my round was the reckless decision to go with McCluggage ahead of Neale and Martin, among a couple of others that cost more and scored less, so there's that and the 5 points extra from Petracca, who was the only one I considered that beat him, is not worth the 50 odd K and being able to trade Dow instead of someone who might have value.

Otherwise my failure on the loophole again, another 81 points which is actually about as well as I've done looping so far (***) and only one rookie error who everyone made and thus doesn't matter.

Kosi now genuinely on the cash train, Jordon starts his engine again, Gulden makes the exit kind of stand out unfortunately but other rookies held ground at least.

Intended trades: Going to be very interesting.

Dunkley the obvious out. Gulden the obvious partner in crime as that score will park him and he's faded the last few rounds, though I still think he could make another 100k with patience.

Gawn is the glaring omission but Flynn is outproducing any other rookie and will know that he's playing before the first game so that's a bonus, obviously if he's out then Gawn comes in.

Highmore, Macrae, Farrar and Bosenvulagi the only rookies of interest, 2 at premium price, one hasn't done much and his JS has to be at question and the other hasn't played in a month so basically relying on the team being so bad he get's a chance knowing he's the guy they'll blame when they're still **** the next week.

Somehow Sidebottom (not sold), Atkins (under premium), Hawkins (unknown right now) and Bolton (Prestia and his head) are the best forward options I see... Farrar and Bosenvulagi both look worthy of on field positions so leaning hard that way right now.

Should get Ridley back and my DEF is a non-issue right now, Short though is starting to worry me. Lloyd and Mills remain my D6 target but right now Cumming is the least of my on-field issues and that's looking the last upgrade for sure.

Mids are the obvious other target. To me the best options remain Steele, Oliver, Petracca, Fyfe (durability) and Bont, realistically I need 2 of those guys and realistically both Taranto and Kelly probably also need to go up, hopefully Neale is in play for them also. O'Meara (too much risk), Mitchell (scoring like crap), Keays (can't do it!), Brayshaw (tags), Libba (committee or him?) and Parish (role uncertainty) are the value plays that I personally like. I also love Noah Anderson but even I can't do that one, still throws up those 50 type games too often (ie at all!).

Rucks all I see is Gawn but hopefully he's not needed this week...

Team value: $11,867,500 + bank $301,300 = $12,168,800
Trades made: Campbell/Berry to Mansell/Junior Mac
Points lost: D 0, M 0, R 0, F 0, C 6, = Total 6
Heroes: Ziebell 169, Grundy 153, Gawn 147, Dunkley 132, Bontempelli 127, Impey 105, Kosi 104!, Atkins 103, CJ 99
Villains: Only myself for getting sucked into Dusty after Danger got suspended.

Comments: Whenever you nearly halve you rank I always consider those rounds a success in my book and now sit just outside the top 500. Like most coaches the injury hits keep on coming with Dusty and Dunks this week. Dusty was already on thin ice with me so I will be moving him on with the injury. I held Ridley so Kosi's 104 cover was certainly quite welcome. (y)

Lack of bench cover especially "good" bench cover is of course an issue as it is for everyone. But otherwise very happy with how the team is shaping up. Have kept all of Powell, Kosi and Jordan when a few others may have traded out perhaps 1 of them. I also feel after this week I should possess all the "must haves" I've been chasing. So can just focus on slowly filling out the rest of my side with "fallen premo of the week" types without quite as much FOMO when I place my head on the pillow each night.

Intended trades: Dusty and Dunks will become Walsh and J Macrae via DPP. Will still leave me with about $170K to hopefully get a poor rookie off the field the following week.

Villains: Short the only premium that let me down - had Gulden, Chapman and Rowe on field
Comments: Feel very fortunate to have missed the Neale / Dusty carnage. I have serious FOMO over Tex and Impey - not having them is going to be a mega disadvantage going forward.
Intended trades: Dunkley out but not sure to who yet - probably Zorko or Sidebottom (just don't think I can go Impey this late). Will also upgrade one of the mid rookies to Oliver or Brayshaw. Going to skip Fin Macrae I think.

Heroes: Macrae C 140, Ziebell 169, Grundy 153, Gawn 147, Mills 136, Dunkley 132, Powell 96
Villains: Short 61, Daniel 78, myself for being too trigger happy on Koschitzke
Comments: 8 trades in and finally made an upgrade, getting Oliver in. Unfortunately for some reason I was worried Laird wasn't going to get up, so swung him into the mids in case that eventuated and made a speculative trade to get Mansell. Unfortunately with McNeil named sub I had to pull the trigger on that Friday night, by Saturday I would have felt a lot more confident when Laird was named as usual.
Unfortunately I now have a lot of rookies topping out at the same time as a replacement is required for Dunkley! Ideally I'd like, say, Gulden to miss altogether so I don't cop another price drop, but also have Warner, Chapman and Rowe to consider.
Maybe it's the parlous position I find myself in rookie-wise, but Daniher is looking like a last-upgrade position given how weak forwards appear and his change of role. Keep it up Lions!
Intended trades: Dunkley and Gulden out gives me just over 1m to spend. Lots of options: Sidebottom, Walsh, McCluggage, Heppell, Hind, Brayshaw... could be a telling round!

Villains: Short 61, Chapman 36, Mansell 39, Gulden 38, Martin 39, Rowe 27, Campbell 35 (bench)
Comments: I think I need to reclassify my breakdowns for how I name heroes/villains after that lot - I named my whole on field team in there. I can't remember ever scoring 14 100+ scores at this point in a season, or 16 95+ scores. You would think it's a brilliant round score, except for those villains - 5 sub 40 scores on field is a round killer.

Very happy to stay top 1000 and make a decent move up, going to have to keep on trading away though with more injuries. Luckily I avoided Neale, he was my planned trade in for this upcoming round, obviously that will need to change. Looking forward to hopefully having Ridley back, but still quite a few problems to fix.
Intended trades: Dunkley and Gulden? out. Would like to get one more defender in rather than a mid as it is a weaker line, but it's not easy. If Highmore is still a no show, he may need to go rather than Gulden, but that will seriously limit my options in terms of cash - will probably ride my luck one more round and try to save some cash to fix my defenders for Rd 8. No idea who is coming in, plenty to think about.

Thanks Bones. Focused on team value cash generation early, meant I held Danger longer than I needed. Starting Impey helpful, Neale to Tex critical.

Nearly went to Jilth at $330k, instead Ridley, which would have helped points and $$. Fortunately 6 of 8 bench players played although none have reached great heights to trade.

Great score on the weekend. Well done on making top1000 without Tex and Impey, not sure how you have done that!

Points lost: D 0, M 0, R 0, F 0, C 6, = Total 6
Heroes: Macrae 140, Ziebell 169, Grundy 153, Gawn 294, Dunkley 132, Stewart 109, Laird 111, Docherty 121, Oliver 114, Zerrett 116 (robbed), Walsh 130, Powell 96, Dev Roberston 97, Impey 105 Kosi 104 (from nowhere), - rookies scoring in 90's and not on bench is a godsend
Villains: Chris Scott (putting Clark as sub and bringing him on in Q4 when game was won) Short 61, Chapman 36, Gulden 38
Comments: Tossed up Ryan, Mills and Short for Def trade and wanted Ryan or Mills but R14 byes is already a disaster and chose Short. Was keen on Dev R but unsure of job security, but jumped on as I didn't like mansell (def rookies is already tough) and need to strengthen fwd rookies with Rowe, Jones and Treacy at F5-8. Looks bloody genius now but just lucky I think.

Not have rowe, clark treacy on the field was a highlight as well.

Big week, have no dusty or neale so well positioned. Do have to deal with Dunkley and Clark this week. Rapt to see Essendon win on Anzac day and went to Carlton v Brisbane with a some Carlton mates on Saturday. I had a good time. McLuggage looks very good.

Daniher bumbling along with an easy 80. He is moving very well, if he starts kicking straight will be putting up 120+ scores. Especially now he is getting some Ruck time on ball.

Fwd line, mmm Danger last week after sitting on the pine 3 weeks, Dunk's this week. Will take a good look at Sidebottom, Zorko, maybe Heeney, Greene. Still no idea of keepers in the forward line. Ziebel for sure, Impey probably. That is why I went for Dev as bugger all forward rookies and who knows what prems to bring in? Grateful I have avoided Dusty, Neale et al. In hindsight Daniel 19 and suspension might have helped me as I traded up from him to Gawn and haven't looked back since.

Intended trades: I need to wait for confirmation that Dunkley goes, but likely trade. Dunkley and Clark/Gulden to Lloyd, Brayshaw, Petracca, Mills, McLuggage, prems being considered (probably Lloyd), then FMacrae most likely mid/fwd. Was keen to hold onto Clark for D/M loop and still have Rowe, Brockman, Berry to move on so not 100% convinced getting rid of Clark is a good move. If bloody Scott would play him in Def and let him alone he will come good.

Villains: Short, HClark, Dusty, 3 onfield rookie scores sub 40

Comments:
The reality of supercoach is hitting me hard, if i bring them in they get injured. 2 weeks ago moved De Goey(before his injury) to Danger, Danger goes down and move him to Neale, now Neales gone down.
Missing all the good mid price options is hurting. None of Ziebell, Tex, Impey or CJ are in my team.
Considering my struggles I'm okay with my overall ranking. I've had previous seasons where I haven't had this much go wrong and still been ranked around 50k, so I must have got some things right.

Intended Trades:
Neale and Dunkley have to go, unless the early reports that Dunkley will need a shoulder reco were over the top.
I would like to get Marshall in forward line but Ziebell is the smart choice, and Macrae in the middle. For those that have those 2 I apologise for their impending injuries

Villains: Dusty 39, Gulden 38, Martin 39, Rowe 27, Chapman 36,, Junior Macrae 37, plus a donut in DEF
Comments: A really tough round with so many low scores, and fully expected a big drop in ranking. Feels like my ranking is way better than how my team is travelling right now. Really regretting trading both Kosi and Jordan a couple of weeks ago. Both will cost me. My rooks are just not getting it done on the field. Anything over a 40 seems like a win right now. I'm glad that I haven't done too many sideways trading as will need everyone of my 23 remaining trades to make it to the finishing line.
Intended trades: Need too move on both Dunkley and Neale, so sideways trading this week before I can think of upgrades. Looking to grab two premium Mids if I can as the Forwards are such a crap shoot and can be the last line to upgrade around. Fully expecting to have another 1-2 donuts this weekend if selections go against me. I think Guden, Rowe could be dropped/rested and don't expect the likes of Waterman, Brockman and Berry to come in. But based on how the rookies have been scoring one donut is not a major concern (giving up only 30-35 points). Need to ensure that I bring the right premiums in this week, and they stay on the park, otherwise my season will be on life support from here.

Comments:
Better week. Have missed the last couple of reviews due to not having time but have the day off today. Have managed to miss most of the injury carnage aside from Dunkley. Despite this, I have a poor overall ranking which I can pinpoint to not having started Ziebell/Impey/Jiath types (went for Clark and Dow instead lol) and underperforming premos such as Cripps and JKelly (traded to Oliver and Mills) and Williams (who has been consistently average). Ziebell will end as a top 6 forward now, injury permitting, so I am glad to jumped on that train - albeit later than I should have. Aside from Williams and Dusty, I am satisfied with the way my premos are going. Like everyone else, the rookies have been underwhelming lately but not much we can do about that. Looking forward to upgrade season

Comments: A step back this week, but probably not as bad as expected (5 on field scores of 51 or less) so from that point of view was to be expected. Keep traing the wrong rookies out before they get their spike score, Daniher and Kosi to name 2 that have been traded recently. The ship has sailed on trading Jelly out unfortunalty so just have to suck it up as Dunkley has to be dealt with.
Intended trades: Initlal thoughts were I need to get some rookies of the field in midfield, was thinking may be Dunkley and Gulden to Titch and Freoshaw, but have not done the sums yet. Not sure what to do with Dusty, will depend if Bergman and Rowe hold their spots.

Comments:
Undid all the rank gains from last week
Hoping Ridley is back this week as Dunkley is looming as an issue.
Like most people, the FWD line is a basket case, but at least DEF is looking ok for the moment, with Highmore the only DNP
Kosi with the meritorious mention as rookie of the week in my team.
Sydney rookies look like they have hit the wall, as has Rowe. Treacy looks likely to become the floating donut I picked him for.
Flynn, Jordon, Scott & Young pottering along slowly gaining $$
my decision last week to trade Daniher instead of Campbell looks a fail, just have to hope Campbell has another spike score in him.

A complete bloodbath in my leagues, only winning 1/10.
Some awesome scores in SCS02, I’m struggling to keep in touch..

: My 'Pink' Roosters compared to other's KFC's; Pink (instead of Red) as they were all underdone.
Comments: Can't even blame fielding the wrong Rookie this week as I had none playing on the bench! My so called premiums are either injured or performing like Rookie, thankfully the investment in DEF & RUC have worked. The fact that my team for the Lock & Load competition has outscored my SC team 6-0 pretty much summed up my season thus far. Things can only get better right...?
Intended trades: I've been unusually very stubborn when it comes to trading this season. Neale will follow the Danger route so that's two of my bad starting premiums out of the way.

Comments: 3 straight weeks of falling behind, not having much luck, seem to cop a poor premo score every single week, this week it was Jelly's turn. The 50/50 decisions got all of the wrong so team value is very poor. Going to go against the grain and not look for value in the short term to complete team. Given the carnage this year i can't see how it wont follow late year so will target injured premo's then.
Intended trades: Double downed last week as i knew i was cooked with the donut in defence, 422k to spend. So 99% sure will go Gulden to Petracca and Dunkley to Steele with a good amount left in the bank for another 1 up 1 down next week.

Comments: I'm still pretty happy how the team is travelling and also my overall ranking of 5,551, from 59,811 Rd1. I was going to trade Berry out for McCreery, until Berry became useful to loop Emerg. Jordon 82 into the team and McCreery wasn't a must trade. A lot of my good scoring this week was because I fielded the right Rookies for a change. I will be happy to see Ridley back.
Intended trades: Upgrading Dunkley to WBD's Macrae, otherwise not sure.
