He started in the UCL on Thursday morning (Wednesday night in Europe). Played 72 minutes before Gakpo came on for him. In the first UCL game, Gakpo started and played 68 before Diaz came on for him. Sometimes when a player gets good minutes in a mid-week match it means they’ll be benched on the weekend, especially in situations like this where there is a good backup in Gakpo. Although, Diaz is in awesome form so there’s still every chance he starts.

Just their opinion. We'll know more at the press conference if he did pick up an injury during the midweek game.

Fielded Minteh over Tielemans and unfortunately traded Maddison. In hindsight I should have parted with Lewis for a basement priced def given that this fixture run was one of the key reasons for starting Maddison although I had planned to trade him sooner depending on how others went.

Saliba for a piece of the upcoming Arsenal run with Sugawara doing a wonderful job of doubling his starting price.

Timed the jump off well but not the replacement considering alternatives were Lacroix, Young and Justin.




If opting for Palmer then a boost to trade TAA, Ndidi and Smith-Rowe will be required with Justin and a basement priced midfielder. Cautious about that with Minteh already struggling so it may be best to continue without him.
