Roberts v Collingwood @ MCG
Hustwaite v Essendon @ MCG
McKercher v GWS @ Sydney Showground Stadium
Sanders v Melbourne @ MCG

Which one should be benched?
Of those, Hustwaite seems the least trustworthy, probably reflected by me not picking him to start the year ;)
Just feels like a sub candidate and soon to be replaced by returning mids.

Everyside has mckercher

If I go him (over Lyons) I may just bench him to create a POD for this week. 1 CP in preseason game, up against March premier (GWS).

I just added Duursma into my side after I found I had cash left, and hence could go from a Cadman or (I've already forgotten the guy from GWSs name)

Not expecting scoring, but short term JS seems good. Am I had to pay that extra money?

Does GWS being March premier actually help McKercher though? (more ball in North's backline)
Higher Inside 50s for GWS does give more points opportunity for North defenders

However, looking last year defenders did well from memory against saints and bulldogs, more upside if the ball comes in poorly I expect.

Hore v Coffield for an on-field spot is a tough one.

Perhaps Coffield for this round so we can get a look at the Hore role first? Think there’s a chance he has replaced Tomlinson and will be used as a key defender with the three Dogs tall forwards.

Hopefully D5 Howes remains in the nice role he had last round.

Interesting to read this from a Dees fan. Thanks for the insight.

I had Hore on field ahead of Howes based off he went 80+ before getting injured back in 2019.

Gibcus to one of these next week, most likely!
Have we opened the trades thread yet? 😀
