2025: NRL Supercoach DRAFT Discussion

Not sure if there is interest in doing NRL Supercoach Draft, but I'm putting it out there.

What is Draft?

Players scoring is the same as traditional NRL Supercoach, however there's no salary cap or price movements and each player can only be picked up by 1 coach.

Players are chosen initially via a live draft, and once you have your squad additional players can be picked up via trade with another coach or off the waiver wire (basically a list of all the players who weren't chosen in the initial draft).

My previous experience with drafting has been to give everyone up to 24 hours to make their pick, so there's no pressure on everyone to be online in the same time window. In reality, it can move pretty quick at times and the draft should be done in less than a week.

I don't know much about the draft version but I'll happily join and give it a go - there is potential to build the NRL.on all its forms on this site.

I would be keen.

Probably a minimum of 6... 8 is probably better, but we can run it with 6.

Currently have 5, so I'll call it viable if we get one more.

EDIT: Actually, if we need to, I'll throw my son in to get to 6 (or an even number). He's 12, but played classic for a couple of years and he'd jump at the chance to play draft.

if we only pick 18 does that mean if 1 of your players is on a bye or injured you have to drop them and pickup someone else to d ore that week? Is there any bench players?

14 onfield, of which 13 scores count.

4 bench player scores don't count, so you can move your bye players to the bench.
