Just checked willy weather again (my go-to weather site) At the start of play tomorrow, the chance of rain has changed from 40% to 55%.
I prefer BOM forecast

Speaking of Heat players, I wonder if Jimmy Pierson moves clubs.

Made 72 not out of 56 balls first game, always been a quality keeper & played the first 3 or 4 games before making way for Tom Banton for a few games now Tom Alsop.

Found that recruiting decision strange by the heat.

He should be at Adelaide over Nielsen.

Went from captain when Lynn left to being dropped and out of favour , change of coach this year so must be a issue somewhere.

Jeez that's pretty tough. I wouldn't go Siddle and Vince, Vince gets 1 good rock and his done. Any other scenario has Harper (Who I'd rather take just due to him potentially getting catches/stumpings). And Sids, nothing against him but not a fan.

I'm also not too fond of the Webster one. Just because maybe CA could rule him out of bowling, which makes him a pure bat. Now that'd only be if he get's taken to Sri Lanka btw.

I think Dwarshuis/Maxi and Harper is your best bet. So if Maxi is your preferred (C) I'd go with Maxi and Harper. Though I will say Dwarshuis is almost guaranteed to bowl 4 whilst Maxi isn't. Though Maxi could bowl 2 pickup 1 and make 50. Whilst Dwarshuis likely won't make 20 but could pickup 3/25 or something like that.

I didn't think about CA not giving Webster bowling clearance and that would further boost the potential of Maxwell getting in a couple.
All that is also down to if Curran is fit over Lawrence and the batters moving up a slot and the more than likely abandoned fixture tomorrow.

Yeah, I think both are great options honestly, but yeah if Lawrence is named in the squad and Curran is unavailable then I'd lean Dwarshuis but if Lawrence isn't in the squad then Maxi is probably the play

For the first option; Hilton is a pure bat at like 6.. NO GO. I assume you're talking about Tom Rogers? The bloke who got bowled middle stump around the legs by Sandhu.. nope. Will Joel Davies play? Idk. Harper is the best out of them.

I'm personally not trading Overton. As much as he's falling, he arguably has the best role in the game. All but Beau for the 2nd option are viable, (not Beau because CA may take-away his bowling privileges if he goes to Sri Lanka). As I said I think Overton probably has the best role in the game... with that said, I do like Maxi and Abbott particularly as options.

Just note Stars have the bye Round 8 (same week as Hobart's Double), so maybe Abbott over Maxi and Stoin if you're not willing to do a 2 week play, but again up to you..

Basically I'd either go;
Bazley to Harper (assuming you have another keeper like Philippe) or Overton to Abbott (over Stoin and Maxi due to their bye)
