Im caught in a trap and there is no way out.

Way to much thinking involved this week on trades, trying to save money and keep Connelly, Dorf and Seifert.

Team structure now a absolute mess with the Edwards Injury.

Just hoping Tall Paul can save the round...

The mistake was not getting Maxwell’s 2nd and 3rd in before Vince got going. Would’ve restricted Philippe more as well while the ball was gripping. Should’ve bowled Warren earlier than he did too.

Another seamer would’ve done absolutely nothing as evidenced in the first innings.
I reckon their biggest mistake was not making another 20 / 30 runs.

..... plus the Stars only average taking about 3 wkts per innings, over the last season and a bit, when bowling 2nd.
Don't really want to load up on their bowling, when they lose the toss!!!
Since the start of last season, Stars numbers when bowling 2nd:

3/102
5/176
3/160
4/139
2/163
4/150
2/198

7 games: ave 3.3/155 - pretty useless, and VERY few bowling points!!!!!

The (lack of) Stars just have nobody willing to play a responsible innings. Perfectly set up today for a Maxwell or a Stoinis or a Cartwright to take it out of reach of the Sixers and they just aren’t smart enough. On the contrary Sixers have people standing in line for that job.
