ORFF reserves supplementary list

As you may have seen in the ORFF discussion thread we are going to enact a supplementary list purely for the reserves competition. The way it will work is, after we sort out initial lists we will have a list of 8 players that are only eligible to play in our reserves. Specialists VFL players These players will still be eligible to be drafted in any mid season drafts etc, but can not be elevated straight onto our primary list.

Every week there will be a restricted free agent period from the end of lockout till Tuesday 7pm. In this time if you want to recruit any available players then send them in a pm to me in order of preference. For example

ORRF Reserves Supp list recruits

1. Player that i want most
2. Next most important
...

The reason for this is that i will evaluate the requests in a similar way to supercoach draft. If a player is submitted by two coaches he will go to the lower ranked coach (reserves ladder) and the coach who missed out will get his second preference elevated to his first preference.

From when I announce the free agent signings (tuesday evening, wednesday at latest) a period of unrestricted free agency will occur. From that point till the weekend lockout, a player can be added to your supp list simply by posting in this thread.

As for initial list generation, could everyone please submit a list of 15 or so players in order of preference to me via pm and ill run through a simulated draft once everyone has done so.

I'll have to do mine tonight. Got a very busy day going on so unlikely to visit here apart from fleetingly today.
I think the reserves supp list will have to be bigger than 8 though because last week you would have needed 11 fill ins and this week 9.
Maybe 12 is the number and if you ever shorter, just cop a donut that reserves round.
Anyway, speak more tomorrow probably.

yeah, please send a list of preference for fill in players for your reserves to Sam. I sent mine this morning. A list of 15 players. If you lost track of those players free to play in any of our reserve teams please check out the sheet with tab "Reserve Free Agents" in the GDL2014MatchCentre spreadsheet. I sorted it at the moment showing highest scorers of free agents from weekend to assist.

Then Sam can get this done by Thursday and I can add those reserve fill in players to your Team sheet by Friday morning at latest.

Will kick off the free agency shenanigans by delisting Orren Stephenson and replacing him with Matt Spangher.

These have all been added on team sheets as possible fill in players for each reserve side.
Please note though, you still must be picking your own club listed players first before finding fill in players on your reserve supplementary list.

Next week I'll add a sheet just for free agents so they automatically get added to sheet rather than me adding manually like this first time.
However I'll let Sam do all the stuff about getting borrowed from the free agents from week to week so when I create that sheet I'll make sure you can edit it from next week Sam.

Toumpas appeared twice on your reserves team for this week Sam, I noticed whilst adding Spangher full name to your supp list so I removed the clone of Toumpas from there , , but up to you to play around with your final team for reserves. You'll see one flank or wing vacant of a player ID from wherever I removed the clone Toumpas.
