Just for reference, I had a digital subscription (not the $20 gold) which I cancelled at the end of the season. I don't have access to the HS articles right now, but I am still able to access the team picker because I was a subscriber in 2016.

The MN, which can vary from season to season, appears to be 5442 this year, up from 5395 last season.
It probable explains O'Meara's price rise, without playing a game, too.

I was the opposite, I put together a team of 14 premiums very easily with heaps of fat in the rookies if the higher priced rookies are the only real options. Biggest issue I can see arising however is will there be 5 rookies between my forwards and backs that I can trust to start on field?

I can certainly see the argument against starting him but i don't think i'd have the cahunas to.

His ceiling is just so high and if he's in 50% of teams you could be out of the running after only a few rounds (probably a little dramatic there ).
