I agree with Jay, ripping format, nice job Hairy.
Don't be too quick to trade out Duncan. He with Grigg and Treloar are ripper picks in this style of game. Don't give them away too quickly. :)

Sussex have a strong midfield, but only mid rangers in the forward line. Consider some of our Midfielders and make an offer.

Don't forget to consider a dual trade with an up and down mix. Trade a lesser midfielder for one of Sussex's high to mid range midfielders and trade Sussex a premium forward for one of Sussex's mid range forwards.

Sussex will only trade out Minson or McIntosh for another 1st ruck. NAB cup or early season might see this change depending in Bailey or Hampson secure a position in their sides best 22.

Unfortunately for you Staker looks like he will be on sidelines like Harvey when the first month of season gets underway.

I don't understand your question. What exactly do you mean by "trade him in the *draft* " ?

We finished the main FDL draft there is no other drafting before round 1. The the next FDL drafting process is after round 3 , when we will have a mini draft for any clubs with less than 33 players on their list to fill back up to a full list of 33 players.
Clearly you can de-list him to make sure you have a pick in that mini-draft if makes your list below 33, but the phrase trading him in the draft does not compute in my mind what you actually mean.

Thats fine I can hold off until round 3. I thought there would be a final draft before round 1 since we have nab cup.

Nope. But I can imagine it gets confusing at this stage of pre-season when we all are playing a number of different games and get confused which game we are thinking about in regards to rules.
Only yesterday I got confused in my own mind that in FDL we have 30 players in the squad but I remembered today we have 33 players in that game...lol.. My confusion was because in another draft game I'm still in the process of drafting we have squads sizes of 30 there and easily get wires crossed in mind for a moment. In that league our draft process is still going well over a month after it started. FDL finished drafting 33 rounds many weeks ago...lol

Bad news for you. Good news for Damoz I guess, although looking at your list you have 4 ruckman so I think you will cope well. Bailey and Minson will have to open the season for you in ruck division. Not a complete disaster. McIntosh will probably come back around round 4ish and you have Hampson as back up if you are really stretched. I suspect Bailey will save the day for you. Good late choice in draft by you.

There has been a massive party in Sussex after the win on Monday night. All of Sussex agree they are happy to finally be off the bottom of the ladder.

Phil Davis was found passed out in the gutter in Punt road on his way home. The team management had a good laugh and picked him up on their way back from the strippers.

Hairy team representative is still MIA and presumed shacked up with another ugly chick.

Its good to see the team keeping to Sussex traditions and partying hard.
