That would be exactly what I said. :)

More than 2 = 3 or more. (y)
Given he was able to play out the game, and was running (albeit just recovery work) today at training I'm suspecting this is a low grade strain, which is 2 weeks (ie. Adam Saad injury earlier this year).
I find it amazing that some think that Melb will wait till after bye, if he is fit, will he miss the Pies game, doubt it. The fact he ran today is a good sign.

Jack Steele case in point - full break and he is back to tackling within 6 weeks, we all would still be in a shoulder support still.

Not for me to say back in 2,3 or 4 weeks, not enough info on injury. However, if he is fit he will be back, these are competitive beasts.

I think I've been burnt by the Stewart situation early in the year.

So I entirely expect that if I hold Oliver will be all set to return in Rd15, then re-injure his hammy in warm up, leaving me a donut, then be a "test" for each of the next 8 weeks, but only will get up in Rd 23 when I'm already finished in every league.

Either that or he comes back in Rd 12, and re injures it 1 minute in for a score of -2 and a price drop of 150k

Oliver, Baker, Long > Neale, Liba, Ford, with the plan being to sideways Liba back into Clarry in R15.

If I'm missing the big score out of Bont/Liba/Macrae, I may as well own 2 of them and increase my chances!

Libba is the 3rd highest averaging midfielder in the comp, surely you have someone else that would be more worthy of a sideway?

Any rookies worth bringing in that DON'T have a Rd14 or Rd15 bye.
All the ones I look at, even with sketchy JS, have the later byes.
Wardlaw, Baldwin, Fleeton, Spicer, Ford, McAndrew & O'Donnell

There's Sheldrick but yeah nah.

Yea we'll play it by ear of course, but it's good to know that I'll have a player of similar price there to sideways to. I'm more thinking how good his cover will be over the byes.

Or a returning Steele instead for

Wilmot to Wardlaw the following round via Davey, Ziebell and Dawson to push Ford to the bench and 10 trades left. Allows Oliver to be kept.
Continuing with the hold Oliver theme, I could grab Humphrey and Wardlaw instead of Steele and Ford allowing Ford next round to replace Wilmot and close to $380,000 to upgrade a bench player to a fwd premium. This should allow for sufficient cover during his absence.

Why does oliver's injury need to be so confusing? This week should be simple!
What should be one of the easiest week's is now one of the hardest week's....

I keep trading Oliver out, then 5 minutes Undoing my changes! I missed the Humphrey train, so I have that to consider too. I keep changing between

Oliver > Merrett
McKenna > Humphrey

With 133k left

to holding Oliver

McKenna > Wardlaw (Rd 15 bye though)
Sheezel > Merrett

Too many permutations in this game!!!
