Here is my mess :-

Cash:12,000

Bye situation is quite good overall at least.

Main issues - Oliver injured, Anderson BE 201 (liked him as a POD/perfect bye but form has dropped) & Simpson high BE now/could be dropped after a poor game.

Not much cash gen going on with the bench rookies lol

Considering going a moneyball approach :-

Leaving me like this :-

Merrett,JDG, JHF all have low BEs & nice draws coming up.

Resigned myself to not being able to get to proper full premium through injuries/some poor starting picks so guys like De Goey/JHF/Rowell as quasi premiums will have to suffice to get the rookies off the ground - doing this would leave 3 rookies to upgrade (Sheezel a keeper for me)

Thoughts & any other ideas welcome (y)
Question for my team, don’t know how to cut and paste my team here😬.

But rookie similar to your team before trades. I have Roberts where your Drury is and need him in the midfield with Simpson there too. Is there a way to get him there with this magical trade out and back in thing? I cant for the life of me see away but smarter people then me on this site.

Something like trade Roberts (via DPP with Sheezel then Cincotta to a mid) - so Sheezel now a FWD, Cincotta a back and new rookie mid. Then trade new rookie back to Roberts.

That is the way I found but I would then have Cincotta, Cheeser and Constable all useless in the backs. Need to do it without the backs involved, think it is impossible.

Would I be able to get some advice on Bailey Humphrey, please? Is he still worth bringing in for cash generation? It looks like he will likely make around $50K this week even with a score of 60, and I imagine at least $10 - $20K the week after. Is he a better cash generating opportunity for non-owners than any current bubble rookies?

@Miss_Brightside still a great option as a cash cow but this is the last week you could pick him up, having already missed his $70k price hike…

should still generate over $100k if he averages mid 60 scores from here.

Has the best bye or round 13 and provides adequate cover for the other 3 bye rounds.
Should get you some quick cash gen to upgrade to a premium post byes….

Systemnshows Humphrey ony makes $70k in two weeks with a pair of 64's and then loses money. Probably needs 75-80 for $100k

In quite a bit of strife this week and looking for any potential trade suggestions for my team below.
Only have 18 trades and 6.7k cash. Boost is available.

Problems are Oliver injured and Hunter suspended. Cash generation is pretty much non-existent.

Was leaning towards keeping Oliver and making no trades this week. But I don't want to field either Sharp (assuming he keeps his place) or Angwin (good god...!).

Does anyone have any trade suggestions please?

I am going to trade out the concussed Haynes who has done a great job averaging 94 from an opening price of just $318K.
I leaning towards Stewart but am going to look closely at Doch before I finalise that one.
I will need need some funds after Haynes lost about 35K on the back of the injury-affected score of 7, so probably something like Oscar Allen to Wardlaw.
Then a deep breath and pause in trading next week as I prepare for a near impossible. never before seen move in R13/14.
I just might be DOWNgrading a rookie to a proven premo.. (hint: think Purple)

Hunter's not a keeper anyway so you could go a week early on Wardlaw, and then wait and see if Johnson gets a full game this week and or Cincotta is named?

I had contemplated doing the same thing with Clarry when he was priced at 698k after R6 and a high BE, couldn't justify it then, probably had bigger issues to deal with.
Yeah, makes sense and Oliver hadn't given you a reason (nor has Bont, necessarily).
Just saw that Josh Kelly is out for a month, so he's the one to move on in any case now.
Fair effort to play three quarters and go at high speed with damage to the hamstring.
Can't really go too crook at him there, one of those things.

Is Bailey Dale the SC winner from JJs injury
I think it helps at first blush, what I don't know is whether it results in Daniel being taken out of the more midfield / pushing forward role and being stationed back in defence.
In that case, Macrae more likely the ultimate beneficionado.
In that case, wouldn't expect a big bump.
Owning Dale has been horrendous, so I can't recommend him to anyone, but he's clearly capable of outperforming the current price, 100%

My 2 cents worth Shannon would be

Cincotta to Fleeton
Simpson to Fahey (I am hoping he gets picked given GWS injuries)
Oliver to Zerrett

That gives you $312k to assist over the byes.

18 trades is pretty good so can afford to trade Oliver, if you think more then 2 week.

Oliver to Merrett/Neale (byes)
Hunter to Steele/De Goey prefer Steele scoring and bye, but De Goey has a few good games coming up

Is there any merit to moving Bont on?
Can use for bye rebalance, he's priced at 140's (ish), can revert to 115-odd output, can grab a Neale/Laird type on the cheap and use the differential elsewhere
Understand it's risky, the question is:
Is it not just risky, but boneheaded?
Only as a slingshot when he's on his bye imo

Looks good mate. I was considering similar trades (OUT: Oliver/Anderson/Cincotta, IN: Merrett/Steele/JHF) so can see the appeal.

I have calmed down from my rage trades and decided no Steele for me this week as he has the bye next week and I've got Ryan/Gulden/Marshall/Dunkley from that bye. Hopefully he doesn't smash Hawks who have been competitive in the midfield but we will see. I will look at Steele/Neale/Serong/Sinclair/Brayshaw as bye round upgrades during Rounds 13+14 (likely two of them)

New thoughts are:
Oliver > Merrett (pretty much a lock trade I will be doing)

Then... See how Mitchell/Weddle score in the 2nd game. Depending on what happens, I can grab Fleeton or Wardlaw (Fleeton if I want Weddle's score, Wardlaw if they both score poorly and so does Johnson)

Wil also likely go Anderson > Laird, but will spend some time thinking about it. Suits my byes more than anyone else (apart from just holding Anderson of course  )

How about

Wilmot to Fahey (if selected) or Fleeton
Oliver to Zerrett
Hunter to Freoshaw

Leaves around $118cash. If McAndrew gets the ruck role this week you may wish to consider a future trade of Roberts to McAndrew. Opens a R/F link.
