I've got both Oliver and Josh Kelly.

The easy thing to do would be trade both, but I'm wary of my trade count. Plus I know Oliver is someone I'd want back in my side asap.

So I'm actually thinking of going a bit podish and holding onto Clarry, and just trading Kelly.
You obviously have cover then? I was going to hold Clary too, but have no cover for him.

Now that you mention it, I just had a look at Hobbs’ price and it’s a fair bit higher than I would have guessed. He’s actually not getting that many CBAs - he seems like one worth revisiting as well. Fyfe might be an alternative at a slightly lower price point - you know the pros and cons on him!

I see what you are saying re Wardlaw, the injury risk may have been a bit overlooked (or simply underestimated, given not everyone will have followed him last year).

The main thing I would say is if coaches are slightly stretching to get trades done cash-wise this week (eg trying to turn Oliver, a cash cow and a stalled cash cow into two premos), it’s probably better to get 1-2 pieces that you’re happy to keep in your team for a while, rather than trying to squeeze in another keeper and potentially compromising 2-3 of the ins. It’s a situation I was weighing up myself in DT. Good luck!
The pros and cons on Fyfe scare me to death. Kennedy another in the 300s who I was considering, but he's actually more expensive than Hobbs, and has plenty of cons attached (don't really like fringe-ish players who are getting games when the team is going badly)

I could theoretically go direct from Cincotta to Wines and eat all of my bank. I'm just not entirely sold on Wines, although he is definitely trending in the right direction and has had big second half of the years previously. Hobbs seems the middle ground between the risks associated with Fyfe, and the cost vs concerns with Wines, and the "blow up the team" associated with trading Oliver using a boost. I'm confident in his JS through the byes, he has a lowish BE, and I think he has upside in his scoring (especially with WCE this week).

But "middle ground" is not a great place to be in supercoach.

My intent next week would be to take a Wardlaw/Ford and a McAndrew if they were viable, swing Esava forward, and clear out dodgy rookies. Then use the cash for upgrades for players who have already had their byes.

No idea what I'm doing. Defence looks really shaky. Pretty sure Wilmot will play, but really awkward when my bench spots and first trades out would be Cowan and Cincotta and they play Friday night.
I guess I have cover for Oliver in Humphrey, Johnson, Hollands. Looping the latter two, would seem to be a luxury actually.
No cover in forward line unless Hollands goes ok and Humphrey can swing there.

Focus is mainly H2H at this stage.

Would it be possible to provide trades left, remaining salary and boosts left to further assist with any recommendations?

Sitting here tonight without a boost and reflecting on the gaps on my bench this week, definitely think, yeah a boost right about now would be handy 🤣
gunna change my boost strategy next year and make sure I keep one for this round prior to the bye rounds!
Plans are great, then you gotta deal with what actually happens to your side

Don't mind you going early on Wardlaw (Cincotta out) to improve your cover, fingers crossed Wilmot makes the final bench.

How many trades left and cash ITB?

I'm still proper torn between cashing out Esava > McAndrew which allows Simpson > Steele vs just doing Simpson > Wardlaw. Want to keep Clarry.

Esava downgrade this week leaves me with just 17 next week, assuming I've got Oliver on the bench again. Thoughts? Steele upgrade leaves the below which looks good moving forward.

For anyone looking for another undepriced premium option, Parker has been quietly working his way into the season. Started slow so is sitting at $540k but has scored tonnes in his last 5 games at an average of 112. Would be a decent point of difference.

I am not bringing him in but just thought I would raise him as an option as I don't think I have seen him mentioned.

Is one M. Johnson actually a possible trade in? Was improving in the couple of games before getting suspended. Probably had him sub last week due to not playing the previous few and wanting to ease him back in again. Hasn't made a heap of cash yet so money to be made. Do we think he continues to play now he is back in the side? Could be valuable for the round 14/15 byes if he is playing.
He looked good to me.

Simpson out Humphries in
Looking more likely Oliver to Merrett as the second trade.
I can cover him this week and next with Callaghan/Johnson!
But 4 weeks may be too long, it's the great unknown isn't it! 1,2,3 or 4 weeks?

All subject to Wilmot staying in the team, otherwise I've got a donut in def to deal with!
Also just not sure as every year I really only focus on leagues, overall is a pipe dream!
If I trade out Oliver brings me down to 14 trades left with Wilmot and Atkins on field in Def.
Ashcroft in mids
And Humphries and Mitchell down for, so still some work to get to full prem!

An option could be
Out: C Oliver, O Hollands and A Cincotta
In: J Sicily (via D Wilmot), E Ford and J Steele (via Constable)

Cowan to player under $520,000 is also an option if you would prefer to keep Cincotta longer than Cowan.

Someone broached an Oliver > Humphries trade and that's definitely striking a chord with me. Hopefully keeps my scoring up to par, lets me make a bit of cash for upgrades over byes, and I can hold or trade in the easy bye week without worries.

Depends on view on Anderson. Assuming you hold him. If not holding, straight switch into Sicily, playing the BEs here.

Be looking at Cowan > Dogs cheapie? Will he play? And perhaps Teakle into McAndrew to allow an upgrade of Wilmot/Hollands into Sicily.
