I had him as VC!
This looks to be the most recent game in which they’ve largely played on each other, and doesn’t look great for English (hitouts 46-14). English has improved a lot in the last 3 years, of course:

In general I would say that they score in different ways, but Witts seems hard for most to score against.
I didn’t seriously consider English for the captaincy, if that’s an indication. Merrett seems like he could go big though if he’s on.

CARLTON midfielder Adam Cerra and Sydney gun Luke Parker have both been offered one-match bans for dangerous tackles on Friday night.
The two tackles, which came in the third quarter of the Swans' 26-point win over the Blues at the SCG, were graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, resulting in one-match bans.
