Haha, just take comfort in the fact you made the best decision iwith the info available, Melbourne said it wasn;t a "short-term" injury and also said he would be out "indefinitely" so if he is back this week they 100% new that it wasn't serious and they were being jerks on purpose. I will struggle to field 18 this week, so even if Oliver misses just two including this week it was the right move for me to trade him as it will possibley save me a donut. Even when i traded him i though it possible that Melbourne were being -holes but couldn't risk not trading him.
The guy trained on the Monday after the injury, he's an athletic freak and he wants to win the Brownlow.

I couldn't fathom people trading him out.

Lolz, yeah everyone should have just taken it Melbourne was lying. Not short term and out indefinitely both pointed towards out until after the Melbourne bye, captain hindsights who think they are hero's for holding him only made the right decision in hindsight.... if he does in fact play this week. I used it to generate cash and improve my team plus had 20 trades left so could afford to use one based off Melbourne's comments about his injury... Last year i held English for the 4 weeks he was out with his supposed 1 week injury, so its just guess work really.

Wouldn’t exactly call stretching and undergoing a test “ training” …
Amazing record with managing injuries…can’t see him being right for this week….but hey been wrong before…

What’s Fred’s ruck stocks like? Does this mean Jackson gets more RC or is there someone else waiting in the wings for a crack
Reidy is 23 next month and 204cm/104kg. He's the direct like for like replacement.
Knobel and Kuek are project players but ~200+cm.
Draper was an emergency earlier in the year but I think is playing back at the moment.

If it was only 1-2 games, then I think Freo would just try Jackson with Treacy back up ruck. With it longer than that, I think Freo preserve Jackson and bring in Reidy as main ruck.

Surely they appeal?

He hasn't thrown him hard into the ground, doesn't look like Neale's head hit the ground with any great impact - he got up straight away showing no effects from it. No concussions symptoms that I am aware of....
