To me that didn’t look like a dangerous tackle... just an accident
Given the recent reports and suspensions given this year, I’m erring on the side of worst case scenario at this point. Thing that might save him is that he had tackled him around the waist.

So Sicily gets another holiday it seems.
Seriously - I just don't see what he did wrong. Football is a contact sport. He tackled him and the tackle slipped. I don't know any more. Christain will probably cite is just because it's Sicily. There was no second movement - it was in a cluster of players - it was an accident. I'm glad McG is ok.

Michael Christian needs to be replaced, just for fresh eyes as much as anything. He's going off half-cocked on so many of these.
I believe it is a deliberate strategy of the AFL. They are trying to determine two things. Precedents for the rules as now written. Rules which need to be rewritten for the protection from litigation by players.
