I don't know why I ever sideways trade premiums. It never works out.

I understand why people do it, but I always cringe when I think of doing it. I’ve had 3 sideways trades this season and I’d say I’m 1 maybe 2 out of 3 for ‘winning’.

Stewart > Daicos rd 2 (calling it a small win but could be considered a loss as I would’ve been selling Ridley > Daicos round 3 if I knew Stewart was missing only 1), Ridley > Ryan rd 8 (probably a small loss considering Ryan hasn’t set the world on fire after Ridley’s game off concussion) and Jelly > Merrett (definite win).

I’ve held Oliver, Darcy and will now be holding Sicily through their multiple weeks of being out, so I’ve probably been too conservative. However, if I were aggressively trading these guys out, I know my enjoyment of the last part of the season would be non-existent.
