Yeo is a fine 23rd premium but I wouldnt go there as an on field pick.

Cameron feels way safer
Not so sure where the love comes for Cameron aside from DPP ruck coverage ... still looking at it ...

- next set of opponents ... ROB (useless), Witts, English, Darcy, Lycett ....

Cameron with Cox in the side kinda feels like Gawn with Grundy in the side to me, points diluted by another party, maybe 90-ish average at best.

If you had Himmelberg already,:

Trade in Maric this week (gets me to 18)
Trade in a 102k FWD/DEF (means not getting to 18, but means HImmelberg can be shifted FWD/DEF as needed on the run home)

Thinking of skipping Maric, is that stupid?

For transparency purposes I hate Cameron as a pick, I just hate Yeo more haha, unless hes your 23rd where I think his scoring potential justifies the injury risk.

I think Maric might have the best JS of all the rookies this week, you don't necessarily need a fwd/def swing.
Of course it depends on where you stand and how much you need to win your matchup this week/advance in the rankings.
I would take fielding 18 this week over not doing that though.

Actually just got a suggestion elsewhere I hadn't even thought of - can just use a conga line trade to shift the DPPs across the line without actually consuming a trade, am going to have a look and make sure that would work.
If it does, then bringing in Maric would be OK and shifting across the lines still possible.
Wanted to mention as it might help someone else out in a similar predicament.
Cheers! 👍

Okay, so what do I do? Here is where I'm at after Ford>Maric (likely 17 on the park). I'm running 5, 7th and 14th (but only 1 game outside the 8) in my important leagues. My matchups this round are tough regardless of whether I go hard to field 18/19 players maximising premiums.

Do I:
1. Sell Sicily > Sinclair $450k (or Dawson $420k). Upgrade Johnson to a Mid premium (<$727k) [1a Petracca+Dawson+43,900] or [1b Dawson+Sinclair+leaves $145k). Leaves me with with needing to buy to premium in R16 (two trades Mitchell and Aktins). 3 trades left, never seeing Sicily again :-(

2. Cover Sicily with Chesser this week and looping Aktkins/Mitchell for the 3 weeks.
Upgrade Johnson (anyone <$622,900) or Atkins anyone<652,800) perhaps Sinclair/Dawson. 6 trades left. Eat donut.

R16 various upgrade options 2a) Gawn+atkins > Dawson with Mitchell/Fyfe on cover (no ruck cover). 2b) Or Atkins + Mitchell > Dawson (4 trades left). Means Dawson playing in the mids after Sicily back.

3. Write this round off and structure up for the following week somehow! Perhaps Aktins>Madden (Bank $550k)... with an extra upgrade this week...

Am I crazy?

Wardlaw + ford + cinc -> Yeo + Dcam + 102k loop

Leaves 50k in bank 5 trades left, full premo Humph 9, 18 playing this week

Will need Johnson + Humphrey to make 26k - however much clarry drops, to be able to afford humph and Johnson -> clarry + another 102k loop

will leave Yeo D7

not a single player between 123k and Yeo

Given position, probably ok. As long as you have one trade youbcan move sheezel around to cover other lines. Yeo vs DC hard decision given cover would save a trade if any ruck issue, gives up 20points to Yeo although lower injury risk. This would impact Oliver though.

Guessing you were hoping HH delivered more.

Outside Oliver, would you consider Walsh Macrae who are becoming value again instead of Oliver leading to less compromise on Yeo?

With Sicily out for 3 it's hard to hold now. 5 games + PIT60 isn't going to be enough to beat 8 games.

Leaves some odd decisions as I think there's 5 clear best Defenders (Daicos, Dawson, Docherty, Sinclair, Stewart) and then the rest.

Honestly not sure who a preferred D6 is.... Ryan and Ridley throw in some absolute stinkers, Lloyd is unreliable. Daniel untouchable >600k, Ziebell looks cooked. Redman huge variance. Houston looks okay but toppy?

You almost think that if Hall is permanently on the outer, then it might be worth just leaving Sheezel D6? Don't like it much, but head says he'll probably average within 5-8 points of all of the above at worst.

In: Sinclair, Neale, Petracca, Maric
Out: Sicily, Ziebell, Phillips, Ford

Gives me a starting 22 after byes of:

Stewart, Daicos, Dawson, Sinclair, Dale, Yeo

Bont, Petracca, Merrett, Laird, Rowell, Neale, Brayshaw, Serong

Marshall, English

Dunkley, Taranto, Macrae, Gulden, Cogs, Sheezel

140k ITB and 6 trades left.

Cincotta and Johnson the only 2 I could downgrade to create extra bank. Hopefully to go Sheezel to Butters, after this weekend. Quite happy with where I am getting a finished side for the first time at the 3rd attempt!
