12 trades left before trades this week

Ashcroft to Oliver (hope he plays)
Wardlaw to DCam (thinking he could be very important later in the year)
Mitchell to Maric

Just Johnson to upgrade and team done was waiting for Mills but probably just get Cripps next week.

Hoping for 18 but that includes Chesser.
Better game from Cripps, is he moving any differently. seems to always have a phase in the middle of the season with a string of average games then comes good late. not Sure he is fully though that phase yet.

I have been watching Cripps closely for years and still don’t understand his bad games, think he sometimes plays sore but not sure. He can sometimes be on 70-80 at half time and finish on 90 with no role change.

When he is cheap alway worth a look as has the game to be a massive scorer.

A bit lost at the moment. Is trading in Sheldrick necessary? I am wondering if we will get the chance to trade him out with our trade count? or are people trading him in as a keeper?
I wonder if we are at the stage where it is better to trade in a $102K DDP and use the saved cash in current upgrades.
I have 9 trades left 😲

P.S. One advantage of being in the UK the cricket is at normal time 🤞

Depends on how many upgrades and cash cows you have. If you don’t have the cash in your cows to fund your upgrades then yes, buy him. If you do have the cash, don’t. For plenty the correct play will be a 102k player.

Who to keep for the year out of Sheezal, Cogs and Green?
Need to upgrade at least one.
Sheezal to Ridley/Ryan feels very sideways as does Green to Brayshaw.
Looking for a way to keep Briggs for cash gen but still field 18. That would mean upgrading two of the above three.

6 trades coming into this week lol.

First up I was sitting at Ford to Mullin and Wardlaw to Titchell (cant afford better). That would leave me with a "complete" Def and Fwds. Cameron in the Fwds as ruck cover. Briggs as R2. M8 and cover (also fwd cover) as Ashcroft, Humphrey, Fyfe and Thomas. Weddle D7 and 4 trades and 17 this week. I'd then hopefully afford Mills in one trade next week depending and what happens with his price and Ashcroft/Humphrey.

I can also just forget this week and focus on my team. I could bring Titch in one trade using ashcroft. Or bring on Petracca for ashcroft and downgrade Humphrey.

Would love thoughts and suggestions. Team name Lolern Bulldogs.

Well done on your season so far.

Think answer lies in who you are upgrading too.

Sheezel to Ryan could be a downgrade. Outside of dawson daicos sicily stewart, most moves are sideways.

Green to Oliver or Petracca is an upgrade. Neale Merrett maybe so as well where u dont get the Tom Green low scores.

Fwds harder, as anyone better probably has the bye this week vs COGS.

In hindsight Id have just kept Sheezel that defence spot Im going to end up with a guy not much better in all likelihood (still haven't completely settled on who I want as all of Ryan,Ridley and Young feel like crap picks in all honesty), Green to Brayshaw is aggressive but I dont hate it in our sort of position, every point counts.

Ridley and Young my D5 and D6 haha. I def prefer Ridley of the 3 if choosing one for ROS.

Guess we are nearly all waiting on selections this week to see how we can get 18 on the field.
At this stage, I’m banking on a Sheldrick trade being one of my moves.. at home vs WCE he can make a handy points contribution🤞🤞

I think if I lower my own ego a bit Ridley is probably the pick, just hate bringing guys back that I've already traded out for a reason, still tend to think his role can go to **** at any moment.

If Freo persist with Young up the ground Ryan could storm home tbh, still not sure what way I'm going yet.

Much prefer a bottomed out Docherty next week but I can't afford it, would think getting the extra score out of the guy this week would get you ahead anyway unless its an absolutely horrendous pick.

This week really is the week that my season goes to garbage. I'm sitting here trying to find a way to turn Wardlaw and Ford into an extra premo with no spare cash. It's the week I lament every move where I took the $5000 more expensive option over the last 2 months, and where I curse my bye planning, which has left me with potentially 18 players, but no options to add a meaningful 19th. Next week there are options, but short of bringing in a player who I don't really want I can't really get to anything meaningful without trading out one of the 18 who are already on field, or trading out a so called "premo" that I was already counting as part of the finished team next week.

(Spoiler, I'm going to end up bringing in Keays)

Top 2 teams don’t have Cogs, so I would keep him as an outlier to make up some points…..
Sheezel to Trac would create a major POD with top 2 teams also, provided you have the cash to do so…
