Mistakes were made, but time to move on.

Either Humph-Libba 3 trades left and complete or Humph-Trac and either Chesser to a 102K or MJ to Sheldrick/Flanders with 2 trades left.
Humph - Libba. My loose rule lategame is 1 trade per 3 weeks once teams are done. 2 with 9 games left is too risky.

Losing confidence in Clarry so might just go Humphrey to LDU.
Gives me 4 left and can maybe grab Clarry if I need to trade an injured premo (will happen) with Johnson cash. LDU my value pick to be top 8 from here on out if he stays on the track

Humphrey’s 120 BE is problematic. Could bleed a lot of cash if he has another role like tonight.. but could bounce back to form and return to being good cover for the run home. Thought call.

5 trades and $125k in the bank, playing purely to win my cash league (currently top 4 and 2 games clear of 8th) so trying to get away holding Sicily. But his cash could make for some much better upgrades than if I use Johnson/Humphrey.

Current thinking is:

1 trade of either
Johnson to Mills
Or
Humphrey to Mills/Cripps/Walsh

Or 2 trades
Sicily to Libba
Johnson or Humphrey to the best premium I can.

Either way technically completes my team, but if I go one trade I’m fielding either Johnson or Humphrey to cover Sicily.
Gut feel says trades will be gold come finals so leaning towards the 1 trade options.

Johnson > Fletcher
Sheezel > Butters

Leaves me with:

Daicos, Stewart, Dawson, Sinclair, Dale, Yeo

Bont, Laird, Petracca, Merrett, Brayshaw, Neale, Serong, Rowell

English, Marshall

Dunkley, Taranto, Butters, Macrae, Gulden, Cognilio

110k and 4 trades ITB. Really happy managed to finish team for the first time! Sitting 2963 overall. Hoping a strong run home might crack the top 1K!

Likely to finally say goodbye to Ginbey along with the short term cash cow Humphrey for J.Fletcher and Butters.

Mulling over a ruck trade that will fund a mid upgrade. Either Briggs > Libba or Marshall > Petracca. Will likely end up with both Libba and Petracca at some point but the ruck situation is what will really sway my decision. I’ve waited this long for Darcy to come back, so I may as well keep him on.

Thinking Marshall over the next 6 weeks probably doesn’t score quite so strongly, but Briggs hasn’t been tested for prolonged games.

Rucks look a bit tricky this week for those with three - Briggs is projected to make 40k, while Marshall is playing WC!

Humphrey to D Cameron
Marshall to Clarry/Trac/Other

Leaves me with the following:
DEF: Daicos, Stewart, Dawson, Sinclair, Ryan, Day (S Mitchell, Chesser)
MID: Dunkley, Bont, Clarry, Laird, Neale, T Mitchell, Serong, Green (Fyfe, Davey, Constable)
RUCK: English, Briggs (Madden)
FWD: Taranto, Macrae, Rozee, Gulden, Cogs, Cameron (Drury, Maric)

Overall very happy, 6 trades after these moves should see me finish out strong. Fyfe and Smitchell should provide some decent cover from the bench too but with 6 trades left, it seems like I’ve got a good amount relative to others. Might look at moving Day, Cogs, Titch or Green later down the line if they don’t keep producing as there’s a few bargains floating around at the moment
