Thanks for your replies @Tamuhawk @Zimmer @Matt

I had a look at the Blues boys, and their DPP could be quite handy, but their game counts have me a bit concerned.

I’ve gone with Hewett for DT for now. In SC I’ve managed to get Libba without a downgrade, but I’ll keep an eye out for any good options that pop up.

There seems to be some indication that Sinn could be brought in - he may be another option if that eventuates.
Interesting the talk on Sinn not being on the plane.

I don't mind Hewett, 16 possessions last week vs Swans, 2nd top draft pick as part of Sheezel for Ginbey/Hewett trade, solid build, some CBA's, could do well on open space of Optus where Eagles play more kick to kick.

Gee the fixture today is making any trades I'm looking at hard work.

Could bring in either of: Ryan, Butters... for Weddle, after Dewar comes in to free up Humphrey - but I'm left with awkward set ups (eg. Sheez, Mitchell, Dewar all in defence.) Sheezel could be looped or swung forward, Mitchell and Fyfe could be looped... I've still got Taranto in the mids - (which is not the end of the world) if I bring in Butters... then again, Sheezel could go forward if I bring in Ryan...

Sometimes it's best to sit on your hands maybe?

For what it’s worth I’ve been wondering whether I should be seeking a DPP player as my final mid. Could be handy.

Yeah, I think we discussed this and I think it's not a bad idea, nor a big deal this year. Bringing Butters in would mean I'd have two, possibly - but I think the quality of the player means more than the position at the moment.
