With apologies to those doing it a bit tough this year or constantly getting hit by the injury stick I have just reached my highest overall rank ever. This week I moved up from 1064th to 705th after scoring 2469. First time since I started playing AFL Supercoach in 2011 that I am inside the top 1000 overall.

Normal programming has resumed after the R Laird debacle in RD1 which was my worst three game run since 2021 (cannot find/yet to have a look through older records pre 2021) consisting of two matches below 99 (RD22 2022= 97, RD23 2022= 104, RD1 2023= 50).

Since then:
RD2 2023= R Laird= 147
RD3 2023= T English= 139
RD4 2023= C Oliver= 121
RD5 2023= T English= 139

RD6= T English= 131
RD7= C Oliver= 134
RD8= C Oliver= 136

135.29 avg since RD1.

Might be finally time to give Bont the duties for my first 150+ of the season. 🙏

I was oh so close to trading Ashcroft to De Goey today but when it got down to 1 minute before lock out and hadn’t done it, I didn’t pull the trigger because nothing good ever happens in the minute before lockout. Dodged a bullet there.

The trade run in the AFL SC has come to an end but still been able to continue it in the NRL with Nikora 90+ on debut (akin to a 130 in SC). Somehow have managed to sneak into 494th from 154,069 and just 120 odd points away from halving my rank again with ten rounds to go. Might have to adjust that elusive top 1000 goal for AFL SC next season if I can keep the run going.
