Really stuck on next round, for those of us with Flekken and a GK that isn't playing. Looks like we have no choice, but to play him this week with no loophole this week as Brentford play at midnight AEST, and with only the NF v SU game beforehand, there is no opportunity to play the VC

That's why I got BUR and LUT DEF. Will have to decide if I start Walker and / or Udogie, but both with tough games.
Hopefully they get the same score and it doesn't cost me. Will hope Salah goes huge against BOU and don't have to rely on Haaland.

I think Salah will go huge against Bournemouth. Have him in FPL, but trying to find a reason to bring him in for SD, but would have to get rid of Rashford/Haaland and won't do that.

Just have to remember this is a marathon, not a sprint!

Most names on there aren't a surprise, as they had weak opponents. But Neto stands out for me.
Might get him in for Garnacho this week, to ensure I don't have tough decisions to make on transfers in GW3.

Punty though, given there's 5 FOR under $5m who all scored 10+ pts and will likely be cash cows.
But he got a yellow so could easily have scored 10 pts without a goal involvement. All the other 5 scored goals.

In all seriousness, I am a bit surprised as I thought that I picked most of the popular players. The only thing was where I had an XvY, I erred on who I thought had a better draw in the first couple of weeks in the hope of a fast start. My only bad pick for the week was Kabore, who I only had in my team so that I had a player on the bye for week 2. The luck of fielding my highest scoring combination coupled with my highest scorer as captain won’t happen very often.

It nice that my first ever weekly rank 1 EPL score falls on a Tuesday! With a bit of luck the wheels will fall off next round, or it is going a long 9 months with no sleep!

Chilwell should have scored with his chance. Poor first touch pushed him wider and he hit it straight at Alisson.
But he was so far forward, you'd think he was playing striker.

This is Colwill's heatmap. He was backing up Chilwell to push forward.

As for Nic Jackson, he was everywhere, but nowhere. Looks like Chilwell was the focal point for attack.

We won 9-0 last season, he played 90 minutes, and didn't get a crumb. Not likely to happen again, but you never know.

But yeah, if you have Rashy, I'm guessing you felt over 3 GWs, he'd do better than Mo, so gotta stay the course.

I really like the look of these stats. 3 shots, 2 on target. 4 KPs, 4 SD. 15 crosses, 5 successful. Didn't foul anyone, so cheap yellow.

Im bloody tempted to get Salah in FAN at all costs. I couldnt justify his starting price so nothing has really changed. I just think he will go massive this round. Problem is that pretty much the only way to grab him is 2 transfers and to dump both Rashford & Bruno. Im definitely not doing that! (Tonali & Salah would come in - and id probably bench Tonali anyway)

Its a long season and there is no guarantee Salah goes massive, i think im just a little frustrated by how Man U played this morning. I'm pretty sure ill get over the FOMO and ill bank the transfer for next round

Someone had to be No.1, so why not you? When you said your score yesterday, I actually though you'd be close to top of the week.
Most good scores I'd seen were all out for low 160s. Well done. Nothing says you can't continue to hold top spot until the end.
As long as you make logical transfers and don't get too cute, you can do it. Let others take big risks and fall flat on their face.

Spot on. I was 1mil away from having a team i loved with salah in it. 1Mil might as well have been 5Mil+ because there was no way i could justify it. Im sure some people made it work but i feel like my whole team together is much better because i faded Salah. I'll be deathriding him as he isnt in my RDT either but i think the sensible move is to not make a move and 'trust the process'/initial selections.
