I'd monitor Gusto atm. He may not get many minutes when James returns - likely to be after the Int'l break. Pau is still a good hold atm. Villa have a reasonable draw and whilst he may not be so attacking, he will may get some Clean Sheets
Actually, on 2nd thoughts I can understand why you might want to get rid of Pau for value

With Villa playing Pau in a back 3 in a 3-4-2-1 type formation, I wonder if Pau's limited to clean sheets than attacking contributions? I know Reece James is captain, but he's lasted 2 games before an injury...

Pau lucky to not get the -8 in the 1st game, otherwise he'd have lost value. With other Villa DEF dropping their -8 and him not, you're correct in wanting to dump him. Digne might have been a good sideways hedge, but Villa have a tough run next four games, so it's time to move on from their DEF assets maybe. He too seems to have a dodgy fitness record, and was taken off at 80' last game.

Gusto will get you cash for a couple of weeks, even if Reece is back for BOU and Gusto does a cameo whilst Reece settles back.
Given other options, he still looks enticing to me, even though he's far from the option I would have liked.

LUT are the whipping boys of this season. Kabore looks like going down before he'll go up (if he'll go up).

I think probably Van de Ven is the best option moving forward. Will drop his 4 pts, and has 2 good games with high potential for CS. Looks nailed too.

Akanji is another on my radar. 2 nice games in the next 3.

Given kick-off times, you'd have to do Kabore to VdV, then see if Akanji starts and decide whether you want to grab him for Pau.

Bowen or JWP?

Bowen gone up $1.5m already, and drops his 16 from the cycle.

JWP a consistent returner of pts for Soton, and seems to be doing the same at WHU. Taking corners, and surely SPGs?
He's lost PK duties, but given he missed 2 and scored 2 last season, it's not a big deal. He has the $10.14m price tag for a reason.
Excellent fitness levels, rarely missing a game. About 2.5 games missed in 4 years.
A set and forget. Not one to consider as captain, but with uncertainty as to who I want as an M5, he could be the one to fit.
So after LUT, WHU have City, Pool & NEW in 3/4. That said, they destroyed CHE & BRI on the counter, so Bowen or JWP could actually be better assets than the eye sees at a glance, but I'm probably not game to go there.

Antonio could be a good shout for close to a saving of $3 and $4 million compared to Bowen or JWP, for those that want a piece of West Ham.

Hardly any fires to put out, so might even do nothing.

Possible transfers.
Al-Dakhil to Akanji. Need cash though, so would have to make another transfer.

Salah to Sterling. Salah just seems like another Pool attacker. Talk of Saudi move messing with his mind?
I really like Sterling ATM. Playing at his best, and was always a weak team bully.
Great record against BOU. 14 games, 11 goals and 4 assists.
Not bad against Forest either. 2 games, 3 goals.
Could be pts and cash to be made, then flip back to Salah once the Saudi transfer window is over (19/09?).

Wissa to Eze. Low % pick. I don't think I have the cash anyway, and Wissa has a good fixture.
I really like Eze, but I think this will definitely wait another week. Can save a boost as well.

I can do Chilwell > Gusto & J.Pedro > Sterling with 50k leftover.

Obviously that is being really aggressive and is counting on Chelsea doing the bulk of attacking/scoring. NTF have scored goals in each of their games so far so you would think they aren't too easy to keep a clean sheet against. What i like about this option is it gives me a full 15 (14 + goal keeper loop) players that i really like but ideally i would find a way to keep Chilwell and still trade in Gusto + Sterling. However, i have exhausted all options and outside of dropping Foden or Diaby and thus using a trade boost, there is no other way i can get to Gusto & Sterling in 2 trades. If i dont do these trades, i will likely go without trading for the round, unless team sheets throw up a surprise.

For reference

You have Nic, so to want Sterling is a bit greedy (I'm envious). But to sacrifice Chilwell is like robbing Pedro to pay Pablo.
Chilwell could easily get a goal and assist given his foray up the pitch and his xGI. Not the guy to even think about using for cash.

Your best bet is if Foden is benched again. He can still cameo and score, but it would make your decision easier.
Given there's the option of Bissouma, or if you really wanted to throw the CHE sink at Forest and BOU, get Gallagher, then that's a fair bet with PODs.

The only issue I have with dumping Salah is who to captain if Haaland fails?
Bruno or Saka are always great options, but of all weeks, they're playing each other. Doh!
I guess it'll have to be one of them. Hopefully Odegaard doesn't take a PK again and hopefully Mount stays home.

Stones to Chilwell, pretty much a wasted trade getting Stones in to get Udogie’s points, but with no Chelsea players I need one, with there good run, Gusto was tempting but he isn’t lock down and I have already traded hard in previous rounds, so one this week

Also would like to get Maddison in, but no for now, I do have Bissouma in the Mids

Only other trade I might get tempted in, would be Mitoma for JWP, but unlikely

Early stages for RDT this week - want to see what happens with the Cup matches midweek first, but at this stage I have gone for Team Value increases this week, as I am comfortable with my side at the moment. Only players struggling with value are Haaland, and maybe Fernandes and Saka, therefore I traded

- Torres to Digne
- Tonali to Sarr

Just look for news about their fitness. Both went off early last game and who knows if they're 100%.
Sarr in particular, as I'm not sure he got a knock, or if Hojberg is slowly getting back to full fitness and will displace him.

Would it be possible to post your side pre trades and remaining salary, for any alternatives to be proposed?

With Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Brighton over their next four matches, I am not particularly fond of trading one Aston Villa defender to another, as it seems like a very short term cash gain with the worst case scenario of an immediate flip and would prefer to hold Torres in this instance if you do not have room to jump on another low breakeven defender.
