Just throwing it out there... what are the chances of Warnock getting dropped and Wood coming in for Carlton? I'm not sure if he has been promoted off rookie list but I don't think they have filled Kruezers spot yet. Wood had 45 hit outs in the VFL on the weekend. Can any Carlton supporters give me their thoughts on this pls?
I'm not a massive fan of Warnock, BUT, he can actually ruck. My problem is he does little else. Taking marks around ground or snagging a handy goal or two up forward. You rarely see these things part of his game. Until he does more of that, we as a team have to find ways of working with him in the team as our number 1 ruck and cannot rely on those other attributes quite a few other ruckman bring to the game. McEvoy is probably other extreme. He is not great at ruck work but very handy around the ground as a big guy making his presence felt when ball in air.
Never seen anything of Cameron Wood to suggest he'll do a better job than Warnock.
Also in a team that is really struggling at the moment if you look at SC scores of our team for last weekend he was 4th highest with 113.
Curnow, Ed 131
Simpson, Kade 128
Yarran, Chris 116
Warnock, Robert 113
Gibbs, Bryce 103
Not sure why you think a player that Champion Data allocated 113 points to in the game would be dropped when our other prime ruckman is out for a long time and Warnock himself has rarely had a long stint playing seniors. He needs to keep playing to learn to get better at this level at the areas he is not so good.

When I looked at our team on weekend at the ground I could only come to conclusion how much a mess that the structure of team has been assembled in.
2011 season before big injury hit season of 2012, we were almost in Prelim Final apart from a few dodgy things against us in Perth. All with a youngish coach still learning the caper.
The forward line that year worked with Betts, Garlett, Walker a big part of it and Waite when available.
On weekend none of those guys were in the forward line. Some by coaches choice.
Sure, Waite and Garlett not in great form at minutes, but ***, we needed Waite down there otherwise structure up ****e creek.
Malthouse moved Walker down back as prime rebounder role and we lost a great x-factor in forward line because of it.
Last weekend for a brief time he actually moved him forward but all too late then and moved him back again soon after.
Meanwhile he mucked up our backline and for reasons that completely escape me he has Sam Rowe in backline
Our midfield I find a mess now too. It has snuck up on me as I was more worried about forward line and backline structure last season but
Malthouse has now messed with midfield so much there is barely any 3 mid types you can expect to see in centre bounces any more. At any one time it seems to be anyone of about 12 but I can't work out how the rucks and mids can get any certainty with each other when chopping and changing so often. I think he has screwed it up so bad now, we basically got to start from scratch again. We really hit rock bottom now, the only way from here is up in some sense. Can't see us playing any worse and I think even Malthouse can't bugger it up any more than he has. In some ways it is kind of good because now he'll realize he just has to stop being so stubborn and thinking he knows it all and might start to open his mind to consider some of his ideas just not going to work all the time. I would have thought someone with 30 years coaching experience and only 3 of them tasting ultimate club success that he'd learn something from the 27 years of coaching that did not work.

Having said that, give me a break you clowns in press, now against him that were so for him coming to Carlton in first place.
Their opinions have no credibility given they thought it was a great idea in first place.
