Is there any reason most people are trading in Robinson rather than Sobey apart from price?
Best to check with someone more knowledgeable like @Lost In The Sky but my impression is that Sobey is more of a volume shooter than Robinson, along with offering less in categories such as assists and rebounds. The higher his price gets, the more risk should be exercised and could reduce the attractiveness of his double.

I'm wavering a bit on Sobey myself because of the reasons you mentioned, however I do think he has the potential for those rounded big ceiling games. Already missed $30K of his price rise though.

Taking Olbrich's cash whilst it's on the table, and then opting for Creek for his 2,1,2 run from week 4-6 might be the better play. I do think he has a better chance at hitting a DBL-DBL right now than Sobey, and next week is a tougher week to get doubles on the court with only 3 teams on the double.

It would seem weird to sit on $254K in the bank heading into week 4, but it does offer a lot of flexibility. Grabbing Olbrich means I can field Jalloway this week rather than benching him. It also means I can easily grab Creek and Jackson-Cartwright in a week where it might be tough to get both.

Problem with Sobey in the past has always been that he goes completely missing sometimes and puts in some dud scores.... But I Iike him as a pick this year.

Robinson has much less prior history to go on having missed nearly all of last season, and a few games this pre-season too... but boy did he look fantastic on the weekend contributing in all categories. His minutes increased from 25 to 34 as well.

Both are good picks in my opinion, Robinson may be being brought in as a quick cash grab for some, and Sobey has the extra week of doubles.
Robinson probably is the better actual player though and has a high upside so if choosing just one... I'd likely go Robinson

Used a boost to trade Valentine, K.Galloway & Cook > Doyle, J.Rob & Olbrich

I dont need to trade Valentine > J.Rob but im going with the option that hopefully pays off $ wise. I've done everything i can to get Doyle because i just feel like he has 2 favourable matchups this round and is the best captain option bar Cotton. I think ill probably do Doyle > Creek next round to get the extra double and a captain option.

Thinking ahead - does anyone think it is worth sacrificing a DGR this week to ensure that I will have 5 good DGR players next week without boosting?

Thinking of trading Valentine instead of McCarron. Valentine is currently riding the bench anyways due to my team structure.
would leave next week McCarron, Travers, Hukporti onfield with Creek and someone like Clark potentially coming in.

Already used 1 boost. Ideally not looking to use a boost until after Cairns come off a bye.

It is certainly worthy of consideration. I think if you are forgoing a benched DGR premium this round in favour of an on-field DGR premium next round then it makes a lot of sense. I am in the same boat.

Interesting talk using the boost. I'm thinking of using my first.

I wasn't going to and leave Cook in the C2 spot,
but now looking to boost
Creek, Cook, Arye > Sobey, Robinson + Dellavedova

Just not sure if Cook makes his BE, and therefore grabbing Dellevadova for his Triple DGR's.
Means next round I'm still looking at moving Valentine + Robinson out,
moving Sobey to the bench, and bring in some Trey lll + PJC,
It doesn't leave me too many for RD4, but I then can bring in CNS players RD5

Given Valentine is on the pine, if funds permitted you could trade him instead of Creek leaving yourself set up for the following round when SEM have the double

I was thinking that too, but then I'd need to go McDaniel instead of Sobey

So it'd be

which will look like

Or forego Dellavedova this round completely, which I don't mind too.

Don't go out of your way to try make your team super strong next round.

It's only 1 round of a 20 round season, and if you have to just player a player or two on a single you might not loose a ton of points, and will easily be able to make it up if you load your team with players who have way better draws.
