I did do well in SC Racing. I came 2nd in SCS group I think. Oddly I know nothing about horse racing. I wonder whether the absence of any preconceived ideas or unconscious bias actually helps.

Absolutely. Works wonders for me in plenty of formats and seen many other examples on SCS. Prior knowledge or interest is so overrated.

Around 60-70% of runners are projected to score less than 1 point.

Just as an aside. The 10 scores in the table above (incl. favs) were projected to score a total of 140.1, and scored a total of 147.5.

@Ironhawk. With the biggest Saturday card in quite some time across both states, would it be possible to do a split card where we can also try tip the winner of the Everest in syd? Big card at Caulfield but the tipping the Everest winner (most likely I wish I win by form) would also be fun

Yep, we'll be covering both the Melbourne and Sydney races this Saturday.

There are two double point events this week, one for both the Melbourne and Sydney feature races. Hopefully some good scoring to be had this week with the extra points on offer!
