Wow tough grilling for Malthouse on footy classified at the moment

Mick Malthouse is an arrogant douche-bag.

He wouldn't even let any of the panellists ask questions, and when they did, he'd cut them off mid-question, and then ramble on about a different topic. Matthew Lloyd in particular was far too polite. Why didn't one of them take the chance and just ask Malthouse why he's such an arsehole?

The game passed him by pretty quick, he's only coaching Carlton to try to stick it up Collingwood, and it's backfired massively. Carlton dumping Brett Ratten was one of the worst moves they could have made, but that's Carlton. In reality, the Carlton Football Club are a joke, and if Bruce Mathieson took his money elsewhere, Carlton FC would be lucky to survive.

I understand journalists and reporters can be invasive and a huge annoyance to people like Mick and that he's only trying to do what's best for his football club, but the way he acts in his press conferences is completely disrespectful and downright rude, no matter the circumstance.

I quite like Carlton as a club and have a few mates who follow them but I took huge satisfaction in rewinding the live TV on Saturday to repeatedly show Mick's face after they lost to Melbourne.

Imagine being this bloke's Wife.

At least you got a response - I will try again with the following:

Dear News Limited,

This is the fourth one way communication I have had with your customer support email address in regards to this matter.

I am displeased with the following in regards to your Nissan Supercoach Live(-ish) scores:

A) Faulty product
B) Failure to rectify faulty product
C) Failure to communicate
D) Continued billing while (A) continues

I would greatly appreciate it something was done about the Nissan Supercoach Live Scores site continually logging users out during the Live feeds and matches. I know I am not alone in finding this unsatisfactory and would like your organisation to:

- Flag and recognise A).
- User automated log off of service fixed B).
- Communicate C).
- Know how frustrating D) is.

IT has now been long enough for this problem to have been sorted out.

Sincerely,

Just throwing it out there... what are the chances of Warnock getting dropped and Wood coming in for Carlton? I'm not sure if he has been promoted off rookie list but I don't think they have filled Kruezers spot yet. Wood had 45 hit outs in the VFL on the weekend. Can any Carlton supporters give me their thoughts on this pls?
I'm not a massive fan of Warnock, BUT, he can actually ruck. My problem is he does little else. Taking marks around ground or snagging a handy goal or two up forward. You rarely see these things part of his game. Until he does more of that, we as a team have to find ways of working with him in the team as our number 1 ruck and cannot rely on those other attributes quite a few other ruckman bring to the game. McEvoy is probably other extreme. He is not great at ruck work but very handy around the ground as a big guy making his presence felt when ball in air.

Never seen anything of Cameron Wood to suggest he'll do a better job than Warnock.

Also in a team that is really struggling at the moment if you look at SC scores of our team for last weekend he was 4th highest with 113.

Curnow, Ed 131
Simpson, Kade 128
Yarran, Chris 116
Warnock, Robert 113
Gibbs, Bryce 103

Not sure why you think a player that Champion Data allocated 113 points to in the game would be dropped when our other prime ruckman is out for a long time and Warnock himself has rarely had a long stint playing seniors. He needs to keep playing to learn to get better at this level at the areas he is not so good.

[Peeved Carlton Supporter Rant Mode Starts here]
When I looked at our team on weekend at the ground I could only come to conclusion how much a mess that the structure of team has been assembled in.

2011 season before big injury hit season of 2012, we were almost in Prelim Final apart from a few dodgy things against us in Perth. All with a youngish coach still learning the caper.
The forward line that year worked with Betts, Garlett, Walker a big part of it and Waite when available.
On weekend none of those guys were in the forward line. Some by coaches choice.
Sure, Waite and Garlett not in great form at minutes, but ***, we needed Waite down there otherwise structure up ****e creek.
Malthouse moved Walker down back as prime rebounder role and we lost a great x-factor in forward line because of it.
Last weekend for a brief time he actually moved him forward but all too late then and moved him back again soon after.
Meanwhile he mucked up our backline and for reasons that completely escape me he has Sam Rowe in backline
Our midfield I find a mess now too. It has snuck up on me as I was more worried about forward line and backline structure last season but
Malthouse has now messed with midfield so much there is barely any 3 mid types you can expect to see in centre bounces any more. At any one time it seems to be anyone of about 12 but I can't work out how the rucks and mids can get any certainty with each other when chopping and changing so often. I think he has screwed it up so bad now, we basically got to start from scratch again. We really hit rock bottom now, the only way from here is up in some sense. Can't see us playing any worse and I think even Malthouse can't bugger it up any more than he has. In some ways it is kind of good because now he'll realize he just has to stop being so stubborn and thinking he knows it all and might start to open his mind to consider some of his ideas just not going to work all the time. I would have thought someone with 30 years coaching experience and only 3 of them tasting ultimate club success that he'd learn something from the 27 years of coaching that did not work.
[/End of Rant]

Having said that, give me a break you clowns in press, now against him that were so for him coming to Carlton in first place.
Their opinions have no credibility given they thought it was a great idea in first place.

I guess I need to write nicer emails. I don't seem to have much luck with my current style...
Ok - I seem to have missed some correspondence - found that they had emailed me back a few days ago - and actually it is the same reply they gave to Mr Young. Oops - so it hasn't been one way communication. Although they have again asked me what they can do. So, I've explained what is wrong (again) and why their solution is not a valuable contribution to fixing their site's logging in and out problem. Anyway, I guess they can do what they please ... we're not about to stop with spending time with supercoach because of this, are we?

Nice email mate, I love a well constructed piece of correspondence!

So why do you think the cookie and cache clearing solution won't work? I'll do it on the off chance it works and have feeling it won't but I'm not techy enough to have a clue what the real problem might be. Pity we don't get to test this till Thursday night!

Has anyone else noticed that the "time stamps" for posts to this forum still seem to reflect Daylight Saving Time and haven't been adjusted to reflect AEST? (ie. if someone posts a comment now, then the time stamp shows it as being posted 1 hour in the future). I may have it wrong, but I think that is what is happening.

* Edit - problem fixed now :)

Jay, if this is something which could be easily fixed, I would really appreciate it. Thanks :)

I think they are fine, my computer says the time now is 3-41 now lets get a time stamp.

Guess the time on my computer may be a couple of minutes (alright three then) wrong.

Thanks Grant. For some reason, my setting was on "Permanent" Daylight Saving time adjustment. I didn't even know this was an option, but it is fixed now. Thanks for the suggestion - Have a Rep :)

I guess you noticed the rude expression in the email - sort of like an acrostic poem I guess, so I at least gained some satisfaction from it.

Anyway, I tried clearing caches with both Chrome and Firefox, that's why funnily enough, I don't think it will work. I just think they have some sort of auto reject setup probably hidden among code that stops people from logging in with the same username on multiple computers. I'm not that into tech to understand, but I wonder if maybe it might be because I have two or three separate tabs with the different games running simultaneously... but that's what I/we want/need right?

Yep same issue here.

Only ever effects me if I have the two games going simultaneously
