Keep going back and forward between Cheatham & Waardenburg as a trade in. Usually I'm pretty certain on who to take but having trouble splitting these two.

Taipans Injury Update: Round 5

CQUniversity Cairns Taipans guard Tahjere McCall has remained in the US following the NBLxNBA trip, for the birth of his first child.

He will miss Round 5 and reunite with the team in New Zealand, for the game against the Breakers on November 3.

Taipans development player Alex Mudronja will replace him tomorrow against the Hawks, while Taran Armstrong (foot) will be a game-day decision and subject to a fitness test in Illawarra.

Wondering whether it is wise to keep Henshall another round in order to do Sarr to Cheatham/Waardenburg instead of Henshall to Norton. Cheathem/Waardenburg may be on field instead of Klintman/Travers. I don't rate Norton that highly so im leaning towards keeping Henshall on my bench. Next round i do Hukporti & Travers/Robinson > Adams/cheapie (ideally Armstrong)

Norton isn't worth chasing in my opinion... and especially not in your situation with PJC & Miller locked into the starting guard spots for so long.

I'd prefer using my trades on players that can start for me.

Yeah, im going to hold Henshall. Id rather load up on players i can & will field for the rounds to come. Armstrong will come in soon im sure.

Cummings didn't train again... He'd be looking unlikely for this round I'd say.

Well aware and was mainly treating this a stopgap until NBA. Was more inclined to spend at the start given the current rank and no confidence clawing it back in the latter stages.

Have not checked any updates since, so is there anything I need to be aware of for my side if I proceed with all three trades (e.g. injuries, returns, etc)?

Didn’t that know he didn’t train today. Gut feel was that he’d be fine, but looks like he’ll miss now. Have done exactly that now.

The only things I can think of is if Cummings is out that is good for Browne and there has been talk Zikarsky starts over Harrison but I find it unlikely. I would be more worried about how Harrison goes with Baynes back next round
