Very happy considering the last boost was used, Doyle was fielded over both Miller and Robinson and Hukporti fielded over Harrison and that I was able to make up nearly all the spots I lost in the round before. One of Cotton/Pinder is likely to be coming in.

Argh, I started so well, ranked 337 and I haven't managed to recover from Captain Cook. After making up some ground last week, I chose to forego burning my 3rd boost last week in preparation for this week - all that ground, lost. It's like digging a hole in a dry sandpit.

Total points sitting at 1,299 which is 297 points behind 1st place, I'm ranked 2,366 and I'm losing the grip on breaking back into the top 1k, painful.

Anyway, onto the highly anticipated round 5. Third boost, all in on Cairns (until further notice).

McDaniel/Browne/J.Galloway to Klintman/Waardenburg/Miller

389 PJC

Made some ground back and I guess my season goal now is to climb back into the top 1k, and hope for the best from there.

So happy with grabbing and fielding Waardenburg and with PJC's redemption game yesterday for the solid C score. Doyle fielded over Miller hurt and he was outshined by McVeigh twice this week. Didn't see that one coming two weeks ago when I traded McV out, but hindsight is always 20/20. Ah well.

Current plan I'm sitting on involves burning my last boost. Doyle/Huk/Henshall to Williams/Bannan/Armstrong.

Patiently waiting on Miller news, plan depends on his availability, and whether I think it's worth using the last boost - which I'm not fond of... Will decide on Thursday morning.

I would move on Henshall - he is not generating cash or points.

Williams is scoring well - only negative is that he has 4 SGR's after this week. Waardenburg will play 3 extra games over Williams - good chance the total points will be similar.

Thoughts on turfing perma donut Henshall? I still have him too but am contemplating getting rid of him which would mean missing out on Williams and going for Waardenburg instead.
I like that he can swing between positions which helps with trading options. I do plan to get rid of him but its not priority #1 at the moment.

Armstrong is one that could be a straight swap for Henshall.

Assuming you are not playing either on the field the next three weeks I would get rid of Goulding.

Sarr has a DGR, SGR, DGR for next three rounds
Correct - not playing either.

I was going to trade Goulding but I started to think Sarr was a bigger risk of dropping cash and no guarantee to outscore Goulding even on a double.

Why did Sarr score only 6 in his last game?

McVeigh or Miller

One will come in this round, the other, next.

Miller, if fit, BE 49. $325k - we've seen him hit 45 in a game, so very good ceiling

McVeigh, BE 6, $284k - has been consistent without going big. He looks good.

If Miller is fit, he'll be onfield.
If I go with McVeigh, he'll sit on the bench, Sobey will be onfield. So I would lose the double points.

The thing I'd like to know, value wise, is it better to grab McVeigh this round, than Miller, if fit, then grab the other next round?

I think I'd still lean Miller, as he has the double so therefore more points, while McVeigh should increase $4k-$8k more.

Thoughts?

Sarr had 3 TO’s which didn’t help. Got plenty of minutes to score well.

Not sure how Goulding goes when Shelly comes back.

It’s a 50/50 call so it wouldn’t take much for me to change my opinion.

For me this week:

- I need to bring in a premium guard on a double to field with PJC as Robinson/Ili are both off doubles.
- I need to Bring in Bannan for Hukporti
- I need to trade Cheetham due to his injury.

I have 2 scenarios, 1 where I don’t boost and another where I use my final boost

If Miller looks set to recover from his back injury I will bring him in for Cheetham.

Option 1: Miller In

Out: Hukporti, Cheetham
In: Bannan, Miller

Klintman, Bannan (Travers, McDaniel)
Waardenburg (Sarr)
PJC, Miller (Robinson, Ili)

This option also leaves me enough cash to consider using my final boost to trade Travers to Pinder, as I’m not really comfortable fielding Bannan with Baynes back vs SEM/TAS

Option 2: Miller Out

Out: Hukporti, Cheetham
In: Bannan, Cotton

Klintman, Bannan (Travers, McDaniel)
Waardenburg (Sarr)
PJC, Cotton (Robinson, Ili)

Prefer option 1, so hopefully Miller returns and then can consider whether Pinder is worth a boost or not. I do really like his next 3 rounds.

Out of curiosity. Does anyone have the scheduling for NBL? Trying to figure out what rounds 7-10 looks like for each team/player

Clicking into each players info bit is too time consuming 😆
