Finally found a moment to outline why I changed from Cotton to Sobey. It was to lock in the flexibility to go Robinson > Cotton through a boost if PJC is out and still have a DGR onfield.
Sobey also plays round 9 as a double so if PJC is out this week I can go Sobey, Cotton. PJC, Cotton round 8. PJC Sobey around 9. Basically locks in my guards for the next 3-4 rounds and allows me to focus on my forwards which is a major issue with Bannan, Klintman and Waardenburg all starting this week.
Ideal scenario is PJC playing and I don’t burn the boost

Big mistake not bringing Bannan in this round. Bannan already passed his projected score of 32 to go up $48k with a game still to go. Looking at a $60k jump in price. Thought he was going to be effected by Baynes coming back this round. Traded Miller to Sobey which didn't work out either. Great game by Browne who did stuff all Shen I traded him in for Phoenix last DGR😩

That was a crazy 30 minutes before tip off with news on Miller. Expect most teams will be compromised with their structure due to last minute decisions.
It forced me into fielding Bannan which I can’t complain about at all. That is my only score from tonight.
Think Williams and Sobey scores were below par for what would have been expected. Norton and Harrison scored well, but would think most have them on the bench.
My guard line of PJC, Miller, Doyle and Illi looks shaky. Got one trade in the bank so thinking Miller to cotton and hope PJC plays. At least next round every team has singles,
Next week will probably do Illi to Taran and see what I can do with fwds and centre position with the second trade.

Ridiculous, even. And the worst part is, I'm almost certain PJC will suit for both games and put up blinders. We'll see.
You and I both on fielding Bannan, kid is an absolute stud and looks like a genuine star in the making. If he has similar output in his next game, his price could skyrocket by just shy of $100k. Nuts.
I'm looking forward to next week's single game round, the beauty of it is that we're relying on good old, classic one game matchups and how well prepared our fields are based on those matchups. For example, courtesy of Basketball Blokes, SEM and NZ leak the most points to guards at the moment, which means guys like Cotton/Travers/Goulding/Ili pose a good advantage for those of us who have them ready to go.
