A win for Florian Hempel against Dylan Slevin in RD1 could set up another match between Florian and Dimitri Van den Bergh. Hempel defeated Dimitri 3-2 in the second round of the 2022 World Championships Last yea was his second appearance in which he defeated Keegan a Briwn 3-2 before losing to Luke Humphries 3-2.
Comes from two sets down to win, to save his tour card and in the process hit back to back 10 darters. What a performance.

Stephen Bunting is playing amazing darts right now.

Has been decent in the back end of the year, but this is next level.
Moved up in gram size from 12 to 18 this year.

The St Helens star became synonymous for using a 12g barrel – the lightest in the professional game – but having recently switched to an 18g barrel, he is now reaping the rewards.

“I’ve had the 18-gram darts since last July,” revealed Bunting, a winner of two PDC ranking titles.

“I literally got them out of the cupboard [recently], started playing with them and hit two nine-darters!

“I then missed double 12 for a third nine-darter of the day and I thought: ‘These are the darts for me’.

“When you throw a 12-gram dart, you feel every slight movement in a dart, so going up six grams may seem a lot, but I think I’m still the lightest on the tour.
