See little upside at Libba’s price which brings it down to three. Unless you are very confident in both the Crows players to start well, I would prefer to pick the one you feel is least likely to quickly drop below the $600,000 range and the higher ceiling to be paired with Butters. Therefore, my pick would be Laird and Butters.

Laird just turned 30 not sure if he is the type to decline but normally that’s the age players start to decline

Ryan and Houston are looking to be huge pods this season, as I already have 2 Freo defenders, I'm going with Houston for the first time.

Ryan, Sinclair and Houston are reasonably proven however there is some uncertainty over Sheezel. 2nd year and north have a lot of players who could take points. He’s a gun but I’m not sure his role is as lucrative as last year and they do have to balance a lot of talented kids.

I probably like Houston most, then Ryan/Sinclair, then Sheezel. Depending on team mix I really like having one of Ryan/Houston as they have a great bye and you can get a much less interrupted start to the year. Sinclair also has a better run in the 2nd half of the year.

So overall, Houston, Ryan, Sinclair, Sheezel.
