Loved the twist tonight! The producers definitely got lucky though.

One thing I am a little confused on is in the lead up, didn't they mention that someone would become a dominant force after this episode? Don't really see that...
I rmb hearing this too but can't quite recall from who. Was this from the promos/JLP or a specific tribe person?

I was actually screaming at the TV for Feras/Aileen to split their votes lol, as I definitely knew Winna's idol would then be useless on a potential revote. Didn't think they'd actually do it! That was definitely Aileen's plan.
So I was actually wrong. According to Aileen's instagram post last night, it was Feras' idea to split the votes.

Two twists in consecutive nights? A bit of an overkill.

If Mark gets voted to the Titan's alliance, he could then convince Val to vote with Feras' alliance as Ri is tight with Kirby who is working with Caroline's alliance. That would be a juicy alliance.

But then again they probably wouldn't let Mark pair back up with Val.

Scratch that, it's drawing rocks after votes.

Interested to see where the alliances lie at merge.

There are some conflicting alliances:
Kirby & Rhi original rebels. But now Rhi has somewhat made an alliance with Carol/Kitty/Eden.

Mark & Val original Titans. But Val is in with Kirby but absolutely hates Carol/Kitty/Eden.

Cant see the two majority alliances working together. Doesn't look good for Mark & Val. Would actually like to see Hurricane Kellie mess things up a bit.

Mentioned it before but would love the two strategic minds of Mark & Feras working side by side but then again that's also another conflicting alliance as Val has basically said she wants nothing to do with Feras as she is immune to his charms.

Watched this late last night. Trying to turn this into 'Chubby Checker' - Ridiculous. Didn't need the twist last night - superfluous actions in the show result in boring TV.

Glad Mark didn't go across, but I'd say that was what the producers were hoping would happen. As for Jayden, words cannot explain what is going through his mind.

Re Merge - I think Carol will eventually get exposed as she is playing too hard, but Kirby, with the alliance she has built with Winny and Val will be able to gain the majority.

Hurricane Kelli is no more! Somewhat noble of her to try to save Ray.

Biggest ever merge number in Australian Survivor history (could even be worldwide lol) with 14 making the merge.

If Feras was truly like his idol in George, he would have used that vote to blindside Kirby, or someone in her alliance. Disappointing really.

Give an idol to Kelli before hand, and have her vote be the one to decide who goes out (word her up first), pretend she "found" one and pretend to still have an idol himself (he could have had two anyway). Could have used his alliance with Ray to get Kelli on side and split the vote 5-4 as well. I think he'll be in the minority in numbers post merge, so probably should have done a bit more. Plenty he could have done. Not sure he could have ever convinced Alex to work with Kelli, or even trusted her enough though for any of that to work. :ROFLMAO:

Don't think even George would take that big a liability forward. I understand he could have toyed with the other alliance, but having Kelli around was like poison.

I agree with you that there definitely was merit in a potential blindside on Kirby. However I think if he was like George and pulled off a move... he'd be a huge target to go next. Him letting Alex find the idol was probably a good idea to lower his threat level. Also think he needs to play it soon even if he wastes it or he'll get blindsided as having a public idol is too much of a liability.

But also agree with OB'E Kelli is someone you clearly can't work with as she has her own agenda and is too stubborn. Very poor strategic player and definitely not a team player.

Despite it being worth $60K, losing your vote is a pretty big downside to winning that challenge, could put you in the minority for the rest of the game. If I was serious about winning overall, I probably wouldn't have tried too hard (although the $60K would definitely be nice). Guess we'll see how close the vote is.

I thought Hurricane Kellie left last episode? She might have transferred her consciousness into Scotty. Another player that's just not made for Survivor it seems.

Had the exact same thought!

Also normally those who win a big prize like a car or something like this... don't go on to win Survivor. It's the car curse from US Survivor!
