I worry about Houston a little, I probably need to understand his scoring breakdown better but he's moving into his 9th season and last year really does look like an outlier with nearly a 15 point jump. He's also previously shown regression which is another red flag for me. Esava and Alir will get some intercept marks, Farrell looked good coming out of defence, he might play further up the ground but I thought I saw him on kick-in duties yesterday at times.

BZK also there with intercepts, might see Houston moved to a wing? with Bonner off to St Kilda.

Does it have to be an outlier. It could be a new trend developing... I agree with many of the points BTW, but his average improved by almost 10% for SC in 22, then just over 15% for 23. It is on the way up!

Certainly not and we'll all look at it differently, I do feel he's fully priced though, struggle to see where the increase in points come from

Averaged 116 (if my memory serves me right) after his bye so based on that, he’s got the potential to improve his average by 5-10 points this season.

The amount of times Sicily and Houston have replaced each other in my team this past fortnight is crazy!

Which is reliant on Houston keeping or improving the number of 150+ scores (2 post bye from 9 matches and only one prior in his career), unless he improves his floor to reduce those sub eighty scores, to reach those heights in average.

Yep, but he had two sub 70 scores in there, maybe he can clear those out of his game to take the next step but I'd rather a scoring pattern like this

Those looking at Massimo, just keep in mind Amon didn’t play so hard to get a proper read on him 😉
From what I saw of the game which admittedly wasn’t much, I think Massimo was playing more on the wing so Amon may not have that much of an impact on Mass from half-back.
