Fyfe role good, what potential owners will have wanted to see.
J Clark looks alright, but preseason != in-season, I guess.
Brayshaw spending time on a wing to give M Johnson more time around the ball not ideal if you were starting Brayshaw.
Serong seems pretty stable and would be the one of those two you'd prefer off this small sample.

Brayshaw has spent much more time on a wing this game - looks like he is the one impacted most with Fyfe in the middle. Serong/ Fyfe/ Young/ Darcy looks like Freo’s number 1 centre clearance combo

Definitely a casualty of the rnd5 bye, Grundy and Daicos have maxxed out that round, throw in Adams for good measure and it's easy to see why.

Of course, those not starting Daicos or Adams can afford to slot him in, oh wait, that's me, haha

Dropped him out mine a day or two ago for exactly that reason. Grundy and Daicos and Adams and maybe Roberts and maybe whoever the Pies throw up as rookies = Gulden was a long way down the list (even before some of the speculation about slight changes in role).

Which player would you like validation for their selection and what arbitrary number sounds the nicest?

There was an article I read that said Serong and Brayshaw wanted to better support their forwards by better transition, so they'd spend time on the wing gathering from half back pumping into the forward line. I don't think it's a bad thing.

Just watched the 1st qtr freo v wce.

Quick notes:

Fyfe is life. If doesn't get injured get him into your fwd line. Pure mid. Darcy to Fyfe regular occurrence.

Young. Midfield only.
Fyfe to young or young to fyfe popular call

Matt Johnson. Taken out shares in a gym lad has put on some serious size.

Walters doing walters things. Couple of snags.

Reid. Wasn't sighted till 20 minute mark - maybe was on bench. Had a nice couple of minutes including pin point pass streaming out of backline.

Hunt. Roaming across backline, getting a few cheapies.

Allen. Focus up fwd.

Objective thoughts on J Clark?
Have been monitoring a bit, like the role, but maybe it's more temporary with L Ryan ankle limiting him a bit and Young floating around.
Always the danger that you talk yourself into a bloke just to be 'different'.

It's never been his scoring that's been my issue. It's having to trade him out less than three games after his first game.
