Interested to see how Schoenmaker goes for the Saints, high draft pick, loads of talent, forced to train with Sandringham due to not meeting AFL Standards. Backline is stacked, might see a debut in the 2nd half of the year.

Every time I make a team trying to fade English and Bont, they always just tell me that's not a good idea.
Laird is the only $700k player I picked last year and bled $100k to RD 9 where you could've picked him up for under $600k.
Both guys dropped a sub 100 score before round 9 last year.
Does anyone have both in their team? Are we wise to fade both? I promised myself I wouldn't pick anyone over $700k again to start but there's also no telling when these guys will have their floor score.

Really depends on your structure. Both have extra value due to potential captaincy scores + single bye + best 18 byes favouring uber premos as starters. Jaiden Popowski has Bont being a knock out starting selection at 125 av, when he went close to 130 average last year. Of note, Trac has to average more to be a better pick than Bont at a significantly lower price due to his double bye.
English has a lesser case for me as a starter: one thing is the new ruck rules (admittedly didn't effect his scoring yesterday), another is his migraine issue, and the yet one more are the other great options we have in the ruck line.
Both would be great starting picks even if they drop a bit of cash. Just depends if you can have the coin or not and what including them does to the rest of your team.

Think Marshall + 75k is too advantageous for me. He went at nearly 130 last 9 weeks last year and prime age, team, role etc to keep scoring as a top 2 ruck.
Also can’t squeeze Bont in as I’ve got 7 other premiums across the backline (4) ruck (2) and forward (1), so a bit lighter on mids in LDU, Serong, Touk, Newcombe and Steele on that line.

In a previous video he also encouraged listeners (politely!) to (1) check the records of the content creators they listen to (some are entertaining but not necessarily the best fantasy coaches), and (2) stick with the sources that work well for them.

Yes, JD is from FTTV. If you notice their leagues are always near the top leagues in SC.
They have a few good podcasters. Jords, is especially good as well. One video I watched, I think it was with JD, he said Big Footy and SC Scores were a thing of the past... lol and that the discord on FTTV is where you need to get your information. Don't know if it was this one, or another?
