If Trac plays well round 0, is anyone seriously considering him despite the early bye/ 2 byes overall?
Just looking into it further, dees share that bye with the tigers only - so just Gibcus/ Short/ Naismith SC relevant.
I think he is a lock to finish top 5 mids, gives an awesome VC/capt option & his byes don’t clash with Bont & Daicos. I guess the argument is most will have Gawn anyway for that option. The more I look into the premium mids, Trac is one that I have the least doubts about - looks in great shape/ same as always … just wished he had fixed his kicking issues 😂

To the people that watched the Adelaide game - does Matt Crouch seem like a viable option?
He scored very well in very low tog (rested in the second half so possibly not an issue going forward). There's obvious question marks around his place in the team with Laird and Dawson seemingly cemented in the midfield and others like Rankine and Rachele pushing for more mid time. I've always really liked him as a player and he certainly still has the ability to score, it's puzzled me why Adelaide have basically refused to play him over the last 2 years (injuries aside). I can't see him getting forced to other areas of the ground by others that are pushing into the midfield as it's really his only position, it's more just a question of if Adelaide are happy to play him every week.

Hasn't really left my team, Round 15 bye is great, hard to expect him to be a top 8 mid but he can get close and then let him go at his bye round if things go as planned (aka he averages ~105 and not ~98)
I don't think he's particularly risky as he had a sub affected game last year & also a 10% discount so he's undervalued, just is he undervalued enough compared to other players.
Berry is the player that I had concerns would eat into his midfield time, so my Crouch decision will loosely come down to if Berry is in the 22 or not. Seems a bit playing with fire to pick him if Berry is in the 22 (arguably the risk is there anyway even if Berry isn't there Round 1, but I'll take that risk if that's the case)

Crouch TOG/CBA's will have to go down if Berry is playing, even if only marginally. I have Crouch at 70% CBA's (hopefully 75% really) but if Berry is in the team, I would guess Crouch could have TOG/CBA's as low as 65%.
He wouldn't be thrown forward, yes, but would personally rather Berry isn't in the team, as he's pretty similar to Laird/Crouch for mine.
