I am guilty of wholesale, Rowsus :(

I am selling a Jordan/Billings combo in a 2 for 1 sale!
There are massive reductions on Guldens to be had,
Howes seem to be on back-order but I've put in a prepurchase
and I am buying Heeney's like they are surging Bitcoin!

We are 1 game in, I need divine intervention..

No breakevens til the end of Round 1. First price rises at the end of round 2.
I am confused then.

Given Round zero scores affect price rises , I would have thought their score would affect their BE

Oliver's was 121
Gulden's was 111
Gawn's was 104

Although since SC doesn't start until Round 1 , I guess those BE's are for Round 1.

Jordan stays, as does Windsor. Billings out.

Jordan's role is fine for the cost.
Windsor's first game and I thought his disposal was good for the conditions. Will score higher than that.
Billings might be rookie priced in a few weeks.

Debating Gawn to Grundy, Grundy's tactics were clever against Gawn, who looked every bit of 32 years old in the second half.
Balancing that against the wet conditions.

Trying not to read too much into one game of footy.

Ollie might need 136 avg for the next two, not a BE as such.

You still need to play 3 games in order to get a price change. Therefore the idea of a breakeven doesn't come into it until you've played your second game.

Thank god for maths though.

I figured if I sold Gawn down to Xerri (getting a premo bye back) and cut maybe Windsor down to Wehr or the other one they have debuting in Saturday, then I could probably go Hustwaite via Lazorro DPP or Lazarro directly into Heeney.

Yeah that'd work.... I mean I'd wind up with Jordon/Sexton wasting time/points/money on my forward bench and I'd be back to 3 round 5 premos out but jerk's gonna jerk and my knee's jerkin'.

So yay. Thanks to all involved that I'm 30k short.

Edit: I can afford Gawn to Briggs (Cox/Cameron, North, WCE) though.... Hmmm... could I then maybe slingshot his round 3 bye into Neale/Dunkley? Got Jackson sitting at F1 looking to make himself even more useful.....

Think I'm baling on Gawn, maybe age is catching up with him finally?....who knows.
I know when I was playing Cricket at 32 and above, the pain, the injuries, tightness, niggles, fatigue, all seemed to just get worse and worse, it happens pretty suddenly too when it happens, then comes the loss of confidence.
Gawn scored a 185 last week.

I’m just thinking of the sheer frustration coaches across Oz would be feeling right now if this was the start of Rd1 and we’d all locked in Gawn over Grundy to pair up with English after his epic 185! How quickly this game changes and no matter how much research we do luck still plays a huge part, we’ve all been given a lifeline with Rd0 I just hope someone like Heeney who’s barely been mentioned before lastnight doesn’t spit out a 50 odd after being heavily traded in this week while Jordon or whoever’s been traded out pumps out a 130.

I don't have the answer but my thoughts are that Gawn had a BE of 104, so I am guessing if he scored 104 his BE would have remained the same. So he needs to score around 3 x 104 over his first three games to hold price. He scored 72 last night, so he needs to score 240 over his next two games. So maybe that will show as a BE of 120?
