Heeney out , superboot McKay in 🤣

Nah seriously Howes in for Reid.
Brung Heeney and Roberts in for Harmes and Billings.
From tonight Williams is locked.
Coleman was my fallback position for Yeo if he gets (*’#=@%’) so that makes hid odds higher, doesnt it! 👍
Should add Lyons looked good will see where the chips fall.

Not a lot from tonight, he says before realising that I'm actually removing 100% of the players I had in this game :LOL:

Out - Coleman :( , Lohmann
In - Williams, unknown, have 240k in the bank now so a lot of options in play, it's currently F7 though.

Out: Phillips
In Howes

No explanation needed.
Outs: Stewart, Jordon, Voss
In: Heeney, Newcombe, Phillips

Total changes:
Stewart ---> Howes
Jordon ---> Newcombe
Voss ---> Heeney

I just think Stewart is priced to his max, even though he has increased his SC ave every season. He only gets two of his first 8 games at GMHBA, where he traditionally scores better. Add in he's nearly 32, and I think at $635,300 he's not going to hurt me too much (those words likely to comeback and haunt me!).
Didn't really want to chop Jordon. I think he can make $180k, but against that Newcombe is only 22, and coming into his 3rd full season (4th season overall) in the system. He has a big ceiling, and is on an upward trend. I guess Stewart technically is too, but he's 10 years older.
It really comes down to keeping Fisher or Jordon. Fisher a 10-15% chance of being a Keeper, but more likely to not be, and imo makes less money than Jordon. Will think closely on Fisher back to Jordon.

Getting in nice and early, as I know I will not be able to resist the urge after the match tonight: Josh Kelly as a midfield premium in my starting side once again.

Otherwise, the no forward over $300,000 structures may be thrown out the window with Billings and Lohmann starting as subs, with Heeney forcing his way in.

So I'm guessing Gawns, Heeney's and Howe's points must count on field next week looking at all the changes
I mean this is SCS. If there's one rule it's that we must chase last week's points at all times.

Regarding the rookies this week, especially the Sydney and Collingwood ones. Do we feel that the fact that their price increases will come a week earlier might be a positive for our teams. Roberts could make enough by his bye to bring forward upgrade season by a week?

I reckon Kelly will come out and firing and if I was taking a GWS player in my opening team it would be Kelly. I think he'll be the beneficiary from their soft early draw.

I think the only issue around Roberts would be JS and tog/sub risk. His game looks pretty suited to SC so as long as he can string 5-6 or more games together with 75% tog he'll be a good cow.

How much midfield time would we expect Heeney to see once Adams, Mills and Parker return is my worry. He's so bipolar in terms of SC scoring and there's plenty of history. He's a tough one and why R0 can be dangerous.
He gets 3-4 weeks to settle in for another ton or two without any of them. If alarm bells start ringing, just flick him at his bye and pocket the $100k or so.

Horse talked about him a bit in the post match interview at 2:04

Sounds like Heeny will return to that fix-it role and be used in areas that they need him to be, especially when Sydney get players back from injury. I have my doubts that it is sustainable across a whole season, but he does present an opportunity for a quick cash grab until the bye.

Kiddy sadly made way. HH has replaced him.

A few other things had to take place in the early hours of the morning. Flanders was one who was sacrificed so hopefully I don’t have to knee jerk him back in later this afternoon.

2019 was the last time Heeney scored a ton at the MCG and not sure Collingwood next week will make it any easier for him. Would mean Martin v Heeneu I think for me and I've been on Martin with the extra game so feels very reactive to make that change. Otherwise it would need to be something like Gawn to Xerri to fund an upgrade somewhere. I can feel the group think pressure and it's strong. Maybe for the right reasons and maybe not but that's something I need to assess.
