See what Dean , Gibcus & Uwland do tomorrow.

Currently have Zac Attack , Gibcus , Uwland , Dean , Howes sitting D4-D8.

Wait for Round 1 team selection but Coffield & Reid seem popular.

Burgoyne , Phillips , Pink , Schoenmaker might be all possibilities.

If named need to do some reading to see if they are there on merit or just keeping the seat warm for returning players.

Challenge is Brisbane last game. Unknown who is sub.

Weird that Lyons had a 114 and 89 in Round 17/18 then dropped for 3 games and sub 5 out of last 7 and the other 2 in the reserves for match fitness.
He played full game when Dunkley was injured. Subbed out in the last quarter for Lohmann in R24 and subbed on late in the others.

Could just as easily repeat the game from R24 and just be matchup based but I'll take the risk at R1 given his price.

Robertson was picked ahead of him most of the year and hes got to come back in yet, he was very good but I still think his job security is terrible.

Robertson is a definitely a risk to him.

Named emergency and had the wrist surgery so could just be working his way back.

Not a player I want to trade into come round 3 with possible rookie corrections.

Lyons best 22 for mine. Lohmann likely sub next week.
I agree, but I don’t think it’s worth the risk. If he played Thursday/Friday/early Saturday then I would be more interested. Still a slight chance I go there though as I don’t mind Fyfe as a backup. Would need to hold 25k.

While he may be best 22, he's also somewhere between 19-22 in Fagan's mind I feel.
Big ball winner, not overly dynamic, and can be a bit sloppy by foot. He's always going to be a sub risk based on the last year or so of footy.

That being said, if you're tossing up between him and Fyfe then they're both going to be a similar risk. Who knows how many 6 day breaks Fyfe has in him. Could easily play 2 games then have a planned sub role for the third.

I've gone from having Fyfe, Harmes, Jordon and Billings a week ago to only going with Jordon currently

I'll need to have a think on this one ...

Seems a classic case of too good for the Reserve team .... but just can't crack the A team ...
- My opinion would be either play him or your gonna lose him ....
- Not sure what he is worth but I hope my team (Port) are keeping an eye on him ... he can play ...

Thoughts on Jack Carroll - strong initial quarter scoring about 55 points, then 10 in the last.

With Doc injury, does he get a better run at it. Is he a bench option.Playing first game of the rolling lockout round?

He was great, happy for him that he took his chance.

I don’t think he’s in serious consideration unless we get a proper timeline on Walsh and he’s out for 4+ weeks after the bye. Would need Doc out too. From a Carlton POV, he’s a great impact sub.

I don’t see the rush to pick him Round 1, as he could easily be back to the sub come Round 3 and doesn’t rise in price until then. One to watch for me as a possible trade in if Walsh comeback gets delayed.

Elijah Hollands in front of him too I'd say.

Thanks and congrats on the win.

Baggers looked gone for all money in Q1, exciting turnaround.

Appreciate the feedback. Have a couple of structures and the currently one which is premiums I like then Heeney, Martin, Jordon, Fyfe and Fisher would see him struggle to fit.

Amazing that I am struggling to find a 4th premium defender, 5th premium mid or barely a forward I like. Last year structure of 10 premiums and 5 midpricers was a disaster when Bruhn, Fyfe, Flanders didn't turn up to play (plus the stewart/gawn/dc injuries) yet feels like I am going the same way.

It feels like lyons and heeney are traps. For some reason they are both in my team.
Probably depends what others you have.

I have Fyfe (in mids) and may wait to last game of round 1 to determine if Fyfe vs Lyons. Fyfe looks better for safe 80 whilst Lyons has 90-110 but sub risk. Whilst Fyfe has rest game issue, that only slows his money making, sub destroys it.

Prefer Heeney over a Jackson as Jackson floor as a forward is a lot lower. Jackson round 4/5 match ups are tasty though.

Well that aged well 😂
Can't say I'm happy about having egg on my face, but goose eggs taste better than chook eggs I'm accustomed too!

Gotta say didn't see that coming, probably not alone there!
Well played Carlton, absorbed the pressure well in the first half. I was in and out of the room in the third so didn't see it all but 1.6 to 7.2 tells a tale. Super boot straight kicking McKay is back! :ROFLMAO:

Shocking luck for Kiddy. Thoughts with him first and foremost.

Trying to restructure now after having him just about locked is proving extremely difficult as there isn’t much around his price in defence worthwhile so I think I may need to get him all the way up to Houston. Late night of tinkering coming up.
I found an extra 75k. It's Nasiah time.
Such bad luck for Kiddy.
