Didn’t get a chance to watch today’s games - might try watch them during the week. but keen for some thoughts on Flanders. Looked like little to no CBAs - so is this week more of an anomaly with the tiges being so poor? Or is he actually the premo we want in the forward line?

He didn’t have that many CBA but he was lurking around the ball a tonne at throw ins and ball ups around the ground.

He and Miller got so many cheap handball receives around the ground. The teammates were looking for both on so many occasions and both just have an incredible knack of being in the right spots and getting to so many contests.

Was very hard to ignore Flanders game imo for a SuperCoach selection.

Flanders showed last year he doesn't rely on CBA's. Josh Kelly and Andrew Gaff in their prime were also players that didn't rely on CBA's.
The kick in and stand rules have shifted the emphasis of the game from the stoppage towards transition.

Flanders hasn't made it into my team at any point because I wanted to see what it'd be like in the real thing. He made a compelling argument for my last available premium slot after dropping out Lloyd.

True

Think Cadman gets plenty of games this year so a solid fwd bench option, might pay to move Wilson to the mid bench to provide a link to the fwds/ give cover & flexibility over the byes
With all the DPP moves possible I'm struggling to pick Cadman over rookies from another line.

I could take him instead of D8 (Coffield or Reid) but they both look like better scorers.
I could take him instead of Roberts/Sharp/Clark on the mid bench? Maybe only Sharp if he's sub risk.
Currently have McNeil and Wilson on the FWD bench who showed a lot more so far

Didn't even consider McNeil at all. Do you think his a sub risk or even get consistent games?

Somewhat of a place holder tbh because the price allows a move to any of the cheaper guys.

But he found a lot of ball in preseason and would only need to do so a couple of times in the real stuff for job done.

Bevo seems to like him as well?
Macrae's role could dent it completely however.

Thanks for the insight. I’m tempted to run Jackson for the first few games and bank on Darcy coming back and flipping to Flanders after the GC bye…
Thwart with danger as Darcy could miss more and Jackson becomes a hold but I don’t want to rejig my structure to fit them both in plus Fisher…

If it was my team, I would most likely drop Sharp and get Cadman instead

Believe Sharp got injured the other day. Not sure how serious. He would be the one I’d say, already has shaky JS as is imo.

Sadly I think Rd 0 is here to stay. Rugby looks like they were happy with the Las Vegas round so they will most likely be back next year to build on what they have started. So the AFL will keep Rd 0.
