The knock on Merrett is you can usually get him at 550k after he has a poor game early in the season at some point in the first 8 weeks usually.

Hard tag could come Hawks, Sydney or Port in the first 5 rounds.

What quite ironic said, feel like Zerrett always has smtg in the first half of the season and gets much cheaper in the second half. Not to mention the tags coming his way.

Not so much out of favour but more that he came in earlier than expected last year which changed outsiders' expectations. He does need development time to add an extra string or two to his bow. He might come in, but also Callaghan and Perryman have to come back reasonably soon.

Kingsley flagged Xavier O'Hallaran as the one to take Ward's midfield time in the post-match press conference, at least for the short term.

Had quite a poor game - 0 clearances, 10 clangers, 27% CBA's for 28 Supercoach points.

Expect Green/Cogs/Kelly to have solid midfield minutes for now, with X being the 4th midfielder at around 40-45% CBA's.

You would think Finn Callaghan when fit would come in before Rowston.
