Inclined to go with Burgess at F8. Likely the Thilthorpe fwd/ruck chop out role. In fact Burgess played ruck for a while at the Suns when Witts went down and scored a ton against Mumford one game. Thilthorpe out for months so if he can play okay he might get a good run at it. Motivated this week against his old team.

Yep. Originally scared me with Hustwaite comment, but if you listen to the interview, basically says nothing for anyone :ROFLMAO:

It does sound like Hardwick will play more backline than originally antipcated. I could see them starting Hardwick in the forward line with Moore sub, and moving Hardwick to the backline once the sub is activated.

" Boom youngster Finn Callaghan and tough midfielder Harry Perryman both trained fully in the Giants main session on Thursday before taking on North in the Saturday twilight clash.
Callan Ward will be one to make way for the Giants due to a shoulder injury that will sideline him for two months, while Toby McMullin - who was the sub against Collingwood - or Jacob Wehr may face a battle to keep their spots."

My guess is;

OUT: Ward (inj), McMullin
IN: Callaghan, Perryman

Thomas sub.

Are you starting Wehr if that’s the case?

Or would you over Sharp or Hustwaite?
That M11 spot has got me stuffed!

I initially liked Carroll but I had forgotten about E Hollands at the time. Plus, it sounds as though Walsh could be back sooner rather than later.

So I'm thinking perhaps Sharp or Wehr now.

If Wehr manages to stay in the team and avoid the sub vest then he should hopefully get a run of games. Cumming's return date being pushed back certainly helps.

Sounds like Sharp is fit and ready to go too so he will be tempting but would really need to be named on field as wouldn't want to be picking him as a sub risk with Freo playing the last match of the round.
