For those going around and round in circles looking at their team , IPL RDT has opened 🤗

Come and play.

The only confusion is sorting out all the Singh's , Sharma's , Yadav's and Kumar's 😀

No offence intended to anyone of Indian heritage

Question.

Do we trust Gibcus on field tonight or do we think Reid or Coffield will score more?

Can’t loop as all 3 will play so comes back to the opening line above.
If you aren’t confident on Gibcus I wouldn’t pick him, take someone like Phillips and bank the cash.
I’ll have him on field though.

Inclined to go with Burgess at F8. Likely the Thilthorpe fwd/ruck chop out role. In fact Burgess played ruck for a while at the Suns when Witts went down and scored a ton against Mumford one game. Thilthorpe out for months so if he can play okay he might get a good run at it. Motivated this week against his old team.
Yeah I don't know about that. Apart from a 4 week spell back in 2021 where he did it 3 times, he's only cracked 70 the once, also in 2021. Otherwise he's served up 30-50 averages for his 4 years in GCS

Not a big scorer and unlikely to spike. Listed at 194cms, I'm also not sure how he would go in the ruck these days

Edit: I also can't see any games as sub that would explain those 30-50 averages either. I don't know where his 100k will come from, let alone 150k

Played as a full back in those days I reckon though I’m not 100% on that. Turned himself into a pretty decent forward the last couple season but not sure how he’ll go this week likely having to deal with the 1st/2nd defender with Tex and Thilthorpe out.

That M11 spot has got me stuffed!

I initially liked Carroll but I had forgotten about E Hollands at the time. Plus, it sounds as though Walsh could be back sooner rather than later.

So I'm thinking perhaps Sharp or Wehr now.

If Wehr manages to stay in the team and avoid the sub vest then he should hopefully get a run of games. Cumming's return date being pushed back certainly helps.

Sounds like Sharp is fit and ready to go too so he will be tempting but would really need to be named on field as wouldn't want to be picking him as a sub risk with Freo playing the last match of the round.
Yep, I have gone quite expensive on the bench in the mids and fwds because I don’t have a feel on the js of the cheaper mid rookies (Clark the exception). Also opens the f/m dpp link. I think it is either that or 'waste' a bench spot with a Mannagh type.

Wilson the other mid bench lock for me along with Clark.

Trying to decide if the Neale news makes it more enticing or less enticing to pick Lyons.

Will get a guaranteed inside role this week so likely a good score but then who knows how they set up in round 3 when Neale is fit again.

Maybe worth waiting and correct if need be.
