Didn't see a Daicos 54 in the tea leaves when fading him! Does make the urgency to grab him in Round 6 after his bye an interesting decision.

Bit too low of a score that may encourage some to sell him, hope not!

Reef looked good, I guess not particularly fantasy relevant as did need 3 goals to get to 72. IMO he looked better then Ash Johnson in the Pies intra-club & match-sims pre-season, so was surprised they went with Johnson in the pre-season match.. and Round 0... and Round 1.. :censored:

Traded Steele into my RDT team, probably didn't do quite enough to entice me in SC next week. Half time it looked like he'd go 135+

Collingwood in 2023 were only fractionally better than the competition. McRae has been at pains to note this. Of the Magpies’ 38 wins in his two years, 16 were by a goal or less. The last three were their three finals last year. For all the mystique that has grown up around that stat, it’s also the sort that is bound to even out eventually. Modern footy works by gravity. The Magpies have been up for six years, playing as many preliminary finals in that stretch as Richmond did in their three-premiership reign. Meantime, they’ve aged. There are now nine players aged 30 or more on their list. That does not mean that they are definitively gone, but it does make natural improvement harder. And the competition is improving all the time. https://theage.com.au/sport/afl/do-collingwood-have-a-premiership-hangover-or-is-this-their-sober-reality-20240320-p5fdup.html

I just hope he doesn't have some kind of issue.
I think your mob just pressured him out of the game. They certainly made Collingwood earn each touch.

3/230

Burnt the VC on Daicos so will obviously look elsewhere. Steele good, Wilson passable and I will take his score on field to hopefully avoid taking Daicos’ 54.

Don't think so. Saw him not used by his team mates a bunch of times, not sure whether he was marked too closely, just in a poor spot or they were because he didn't bring the bins in or something.
