Green will be captain. Super confident in Green this week. I find that he tends to start well in games (no stats on me) which bodes well for this week as I’m expecting WC to get pumped by GWS which means scaling for early acts plays a big part.

Still undecided on the VC. Libba is there for the safe option, but I’m chasing ceiling.

Gawn is an option. Hawks haven’t been giving up big scores to rucks but Gawn has a good history against them (albeit against different rucks).

There’s 3 POD options I’m looking at. One is Houston who’s your typical 90 one week, 160 the next. Up against Richmond is a decent matchup. 72, 114 (against Richmond), and 156 (boosted by after the siren goal) at the MCG last year.

Grundy against the Bombers? Goldstein gave up a couple big scores last year and it’s Draper’s first game back.

Ryan is coming off a big game but plays North. Freo don’t have as many rebounding types as they had last year with Young playing midfield now and Cox out. They don’t even have a Worner/Wagner type playing.

Daicos failed, so I'm going Dawson captain. He should bounce back as skipper of the club, and in fine weather he can do his best work. Still the crows #1 CBA mid last week and it wasn't even close. He should do some nasty things to the Cats weakened midfield.

Gawn into Bont, keeping it simple.

Would really like a Dawson bounce back but not game to go there.
Butters also a very appealing option, but I'll be going to the game and I don't think I can put myself through that live.

Hawks only with one ruckmen. Ran with 2 last year. Not sure Reeves can push Gawn around.

Hmm, bont has a lot of very low scores at Ballarat.
I was just looking at Bonts record there, not Cpt worthy but with no Macrae who does love it there and English no doubt having a day out now with no Witts I think I’ll stick with him as C, have him as a POD in a few leagues so will be nice to see that 740k pay off.
