Ok Newcombe burned me, but Martin was only slightly better so not too upset... is Powell from North now a definite mid price pickup option? he's only 312,000 and after a few years of promise looks like he's breaking out... getting full mid minutes as I feel Simpkin is actually below him in the pecking order now as Powell is stronger contested player... I don't have Mckercher either so was thinking of going

NEWCOMBE TO POWELL, BERRY (ADE) TO MCKERCHER this makes me about 250,000 k of bank for the week after if young fails at home vs Adelaide he will lose me cash and be traded probably , very happy I brought in Setterfield this week hopefully his form holds with Parish back.

Berry wasn't the worst but being subbed is not a good sign.. I will have to hold Young for now and hope he finds form with a slightly different role, his preseason is too good to ignore I think he can bounce back so I will just take the cash hit for now and ditch Newcombe and Berry first. Got Adelaide at home then Carlton at a neutral ground in Adelaide so hopefully he finds a bit of confidence

Will miss Mannagh as a rookie but isn't too disastrous as he's gone 23 sub then 45 vs Adelaide after a pretty bright start he died out a bit.. its ok though as Darcy should do well and be the pickup option in the forward line in 2 weeks:)

what do you guys mean when you say Setterfield starts at 0?? doesn't he rise after next game and it'll be a decent rise too?

Consider just benching S Berry, at $200k it's rookie level, not MP, treatment he should receive. I'm moving Young on. It's best 18, worry about your best.

Doesn’t matter what he averaged over the first two rounds as he will start at 0. More important is what you think he will average for the remainder of the season in your squad. Did you consider him during the pre season and if not, why is he receiving attention now?
I actually did but decided to go with Holmes and Crouch. But surely you can down size a premium mid and upgrade another player, then trade Setterfield back to a premium in a month's time. Clearly he has a new position as the inside bull . So it's a good value.

Yes, but I think the intention of the post you are referring to is that despite what he has scored in the past 2 weeks, in his next game his score will start at 0 like all players.

After 2 games yes he is averaging 123 ish, at that price 475k he probably needs to be a keeper, so you would want to be pretty confident he would be able to sustain or go close to sustaining it.

No mention of Setterfield? Interesting at 475k and averages 120.
Last season Setterfield started
Rd 1 - 122 DT : 99 SC
Rd 2 - 130 DT : 147 SC

So after averaging 123 after the first 2 rounds, his next highest score for the year (he got injured in round 9) was 91 and he averaged 85 for the year. At his price he needs to be a keeper for the rest of the season.

Need to check my rookies at the end of the round but maybe go completely crazy

Daicos 😲 - > Stewart
Young - > Ryan
Reid - > D'Ambrosio

Would leave defence looking : -

Stewart , Ryan , Houston , Sheezel , D'Ambrosio , Williams / Coffield , Howes

See price projections for Sicily & Stewart (v D'Ambrosio & Williams) and then bring back Daicos as a mid

Grundy & Martin with 90's save themselves

Need to see him with Parish in the team to have any sort of confidence in the pick.
