Opinion 2024: Rookie Roulette

DEF: Only line I have a legit loop with the injured Reid. Can loop Hore, or Howes with Coffeild?
MID: Think I'll bench Sanders and play Sharp against North
FWD: Thinking Cadman should be on field against West Coast, but who to bench of Sexton, Berry, Jordon, or Fisher?
(no loop unless I bench Grundy and swing Livingstone into forwards which seems a bit silly in an 18 player round. )
Edit: actually just silly in any round.

I’m a bit of a Cadman skeptic, but more broadly I would just flag that ceiling is a bit more important than expected score gibej best 18. Eg I would definitely want Jordon in field and would probably punt on fielding Fisher, who I believe scored some 60 type scores and some 110 type scores in a role down back late last year.

In what order you do you guys reckon?
This is my current thinking:
Roberts, Sharp on field, then either Sanders vs Wilson's score of 59?
Have to play 3 of them.
Thinking I'll roll the dice on Sanders not getting subbed this week?
I have 22 playing so as long as they beat Daicos score

I would punt on all of those versus bringing a 59 on field in a best 18 round (assuming that’s what is happening).

I would be inclined to go for the ceiling score in a best 18 round.

Depends how you see your round panning out. I currently have 65 as my lowest score so the 63 and also 62 from Young drop out. Would definitely be going for a potential spike considering minimal risk if you think your team will be similar

Stoked with my roulette round so far, only down 3 points so far with laz benched behind sharp (who will be atleast my 18th player). Just Reid sexton and tberry to go. Gotta decide which of the 3 to bench.

I'm also weighing this up. I think if you have a safety net, go for the ceiling in Cadman, but if you desperately need to secure a 60-65 Reid is probably the safer bet.

It's looking like I'll need Reid/Cadman to score more than 54 for their score to be included in best 18. Might roll the dice with Cadman this week.

I've actually gone Reid just because he will be more popular, and I couldn't handle a 95 from him on the bench.

Left some points on the bench this week, Wilson over Sanders -40, Reid over Cadman -37 Sexton over Campbell -33

TBH though Cadman was the only one that I thought could work but was risky. No loops available anywhere on the ground apart from R3, hopefully a bit different this week, looping Sanders/Clark and Wilson into Campbell/Dempsey/Reid

With Danger out this week Clark could almost be the Cats number 1 midfielder. I’d go 2
