Hard to say keeper, looks a better version of Fisher, transition player who benefits when Northball in ON.

+500m gained, outside player to LDU, up there with LDU on clearances though. top 4 for pressure acts.

Question is whether Simpkin is still building from concussion.

why not boost?

I actually did but decided to go with Holmes and Crouch. But surely you can down size a premium mid and upgrade another player, then trade Setterfield back to a premium in a month's time. Clearly he has a new position as the inside bull . So it's a good value.
Isn't this scoring likely to Darcy Parish being out though?
Also I think Setterfield did this to us last year (or the year before) before reverting to normal scoring.

what do you guys mean when you say Setterfield starts at 0?? doesn't he rise after next game and it'll be a decent rise too?
I think Con meant that when you trade in a player you don't get their past scores, so basically what Setterfield has scored in the past doesn't help you, only what he scores in the future and is that scoring worth it for his price point/cash generation/is he a keeper?

Setters did this the other year, went big early people jumped on. Those who started got a decent lump of cash, those who jumped on (me doh*) wasted trades made bugger all and got shafted.

I used a boost last week, dont want to use 2 this early on.
Im looking at powell as a potential keeper where mckercher is obviously just a cash cow.
With my rookie stocks pretty good in the mids, is mckercher a must have?
Powell differently has the potential to go 95-100ave.

Why not?

Ideal time to use them to maximise both points and cash gen. Two trades are still able to be used in other rounds. Can exploit those playing too conservatively or not adjusting to the changes early enough, to set you up well for coming rounds, early upgrades, etc.

Agree, trading early can make a big difference.
I was trading more aggressive last year and ended up doing quite well, better than previous years when I was more conservative.

Trading hard early on again this year 🤞

Reid > Pink
Sexton > Darcy
Hogan > McKay or Steele

I assume I'll run the first two. Pink should make at least some $$$, provide bye coverage in Round 6, and then provide a way for me to get one of Roberts/McKercher into the backline (when Pink is traded out at Round 7 )

Sexton still has money to make (how much?), but Darcy gets me a body for the Round 3 bye, against the Eagles, some ruck hitouts to advantage as well... Looks set to stay in the team for the medium term. Will he get ruck DPP too?

The Hogan trade is just a rage trade idea. McKay has North at Marvel with a big negative BE. Steele could be a cheap keeper. But Hogan has the 165 in his price cycle for one more price change.

Rookie who can make you over $200k is must. lots of up and down rookies, you can have him in field without second guessing.

Don't think, do!

yeah, r3-7 last year I used 15 trades to recover from 77k to finish. Turned around just doing what was needed. Never needed a boost after that.

Yes mckercher is a must have, will make plenty of cash , dpp soon and can play on field. Would not be surprised if he punches out a few tonnes along the way

When is it open? I need to go to bed work at 6
