My rookies are looking OK. Do still have Reid but don’t think any other defensive rookies screaming pick me. I could boost to get Hore.

Young + Reid + Berry to Sheezel + Dempsey + Powell

Young over Sheez to start was a mistake, Reid goes this week after seeing more from Dempsey.
Powell CBA% is rocketing - feel like he's moving into must get territory

I agree, whilst Young goes, he isn't one of the angry trade outs where we followed the masses. the data late last year supported it. Is it Fyfe back, his clangers are through the roof. No doubt Fyfe gets injured at some point and he turns it around when everyone has departed the train.

Only did the one trade in Fisher to Billings, thankfully held back on doing more to get data. Was going to go Reid to Massimo which would have been good for this week, bad for restructuring.

Stewart interesting - felt like with +10 intercepts he would have gone +160. Sicily about to get cheapish and may be back, so another one in coming weeks to look at.

Planned trades:

Trade 1 choices
Young > Massimo
Sanders > Jackson or Serong

Trade 2 choices
Young > Massimo
Sanders > Jackson
Lyons/Fyfe > Powell

Have Wines I can throw into equation if needed, prefer to hold if he is scoring at least 90 for now.
I reckon you just let Jackson go at this point, two big scores are already gone and we are two weeks closer to a Darcy return, feels like chasing points that have a pending expiry date.

Young, SBerry, Sexton to Bramble, McKercher and Powell.

Want to give Young more time as the role is there but is it foolish as he is potentially the 4th guy in line.

Other option is to trade Grundy instead and move Jackson into the rucks.

Or could let Bramble and/or Powell go and go for Sharp and Dempsey instead.

So many decisions to be made.

Yeah, appreciate that point and something on my mind. Thanks for the view. Although, you can could say that many who jumped on Green etc, although, the difference is role change vs 40% own him today. Had thought the ruck backup may be needed, yet, maybe Sam Darcy offers that alternative.

The other question is 21 years old, does he improve as a forward on last year, you would think so.

If not Jackson, would you go Serong or Butters, former looks to have mildly better draw.

Similar to you, looking Powell. dont have Massimo so Young can go to him, rather than go up from Reid.

Have moved up to 4,379 overall ranking after scoring 2078 points this round.

Only used two trades last round so it’s only fair that I use my first boost of the season this round.

Out: Young, Coffield & Sexton
In: Ryan, Pink & Dempsey/Carroll

Bramble and Powell look like good picks but I don’t have the need and/or structure to trade them in with Young being my only under performing premium/mid pricer.

Defence makeover this week.
Young, Reid & Coffield -> NWM, Bramble & Pink. Means I’ll miss out on Powell & miss the Green/Touk slingshot after their bye but want to get cash gen sorted.

Not sure if I’ve gone a bit heavy in defence now? Just limited number of rookies around.

Those with Nic Martin, are you finding the cash to get to Steele?

I'm $20k short of
Young, Martin, Reid OUT
Steele, Luke Ryan, Massimo IN

Instead of Luke Ryan I am considering trading in NWM and Serong over Steele with the extra cash.

Gibcus -> D'Ambrosio

Then it gets hard. Probably want to move Young on, but think he's still potentially a D6 option across the season, maybe I should just suck it up for now. With Coffield and Reid, defence rookies look bad, just not sure where I can move a 123k defender, so thinking of holding them for this week if both not projected to be long term, then look at where else I can extract some cash in a 1 down/1 up to a mid pricer type to get either Powell or Bramble. Bramble to the mids would make sense as a move to help fix the defensive rookies next week with a position rotation to get Darcy, but Powell appeals more as someone to have in my team. The down end is probably Dempsey if I go to Bramble, but might need to go early on Darcy now to get to Powell.

There are a lot of considerations at this point, and it's going to need some spreadsheet work!!

I'd really like to move khamis and mckercher to defence. Oh well.

Sexton to Powell. (I wanted powell in my side all preseason. Someone has to make way)

Young to Mass. (Young has a good role. I traded him out after two rounds last year. I assume he will come good)

Gibcus to Bramble. (I have coffield for a loop! Don't love the bramble pick but he should have a good role for a few weeks and plays west coast. Hopefully i can turn him into a premium soonish. All the def rookies are broken.)

Do we think fyfe gets subbed every second week. Probably would of got another 100 if not subbed?
